Now, off-grid rotations. Things no longer rotate by clear 90°, no no no. They rotate at 1° per game tick, for as long as you hold R. The only mercy you get is Shift+R reversing the direction of rotation.

Would it not have been easier to take the full blueprint, and then right click on the count of undergrounds to erase all the undergrounds in the blueprint? You have to place the undergrounds manually anyways, but one click would let you use the almost full blueprint.

So the reason for the issue with pumps connecting to trains is because in vanilla a train has to be very closely aligned with the tile grid for a pump to connect. Most people aren't going to notice this because normally the only way to see it happen is with manually driven trains with fluid wagons.

Fun fact for abnormal people: If you’re doing a diagonal base, this means you’re probably better off using barrels in cargo wagons. (It’s been a while since I touched that save, and I’m glad, but it means I’m not entirely sure on this. I also *think* you can’t put stations on diagonal rails, but I don’t know for sure.)
