Actually in Poland it's super rare to spot a Fiat 125/126 (both were produced here) even polish Polonez is very rare on the streets. From my polish point of view the most popular cars would be VW Golf Mk.IV, Passat B5 (and B5 FL) [mostly with 1.9 TDI diesel engine], Skoda Fabia (because it were super popular pick for salesmen and their fleets) or Audi A4 B5. Also a lot of Audi A6 C5/C6 (mostly diesel engines). And if it comes to new cars... Well... Mostly Dacia, Renault, Citroen and Peugeot, as these are fairly cheap and with good financing services

Speaking about Skodas, Octavia has been the second most sold car in Finland very long time, my Dad has a 2016 Skoda Octavia RS Combi with 230 HP. I have a Ford Excursion (the 7.2 diesel V8 model) SUV myself but I really love the sportyness of the Skoda. My Grandma has a VW Golf and her manfriend has a 1999 Toyota Corolla with the 2 liter turbodiesel engine. My best friend has Mazda 6 MPS 2013 and a Skoda Octavia TSi 2006. I am still thinking about buying a classic 90s Acura NSX (yes a Acura, mainly becouse its US made and has the steering wheel at the right place!)
