@ Yep… I have 2 of them. And I made sure they always wear their seatbelts and helmets when they ride a bike. Schools and parents should show this video to their kids. It’s very educational. One one my friend used to ride a motorcycle when he was in med school. He worked weekends in the Hospital Emergency and trauma ward. After a month he got rid of his bike. Seeing reality might be brutal but it’s a good way to learn.
@ghostnoname759328 күн бұрын
@@samuraichamploo585 that has nothing to do with being a teenager, as a parent its your job to make sure that driving without the seatbelt is out of question or 16 is maybe not mature enough to get a driving licence. Depending on the driver a car can be a 150 HP or more cannonball.... in Germany you has to be 18 to get a driving licence to drive alone, and our cars give of a nasty and obnoxious sounds when the sensors in the seats get a signal but the sensor of the seatbelt gets none. Do you have that in your cars too?

EVEN MORE SHOCKING is a judge who would have taken their word and just changed her legal age just because they said so!!?? that is CRAZZZZZZY

2nd story: I'm 50 years old and have buckled my seat as long as I can remember. McDonald's even ran a promotion in the 80s encouraging kids to buckle up and each child was issued a card. One you'd buckled up for 10 car rides your parent signed it to verify, you got a Happy Meal. So I can not understand NOT putting your seat belt on every time you get into a car. It probably would've killed her tho. My mother would've died if she had her seatbelt on back in 1983 when a semi truck ran over us. The truck crushed the door and roof in on the driver side. The impact knocked her over in the passenger seat. She still broke her tailbone and fractured a vertebrae. But the driver seat she was sitting in was obliterated. And everyone who came to our rescue said if she was wearing her seatbelt she would've died. Each case is isolated. So never assume each situation translates into all variations. Yes wearing a seatbelt has saved more lives than it hasn't. But again, looking at the wreckage makes it no guarantee that she "should've worn a seatbelt."

I can relate to her not wanting to touch it. I was the same when my breast was removed. I didn't touch the area or look at my upper body for nearly a year. A friend came over daily to bathe me then I started using bath aides to wash the area, still not brave enough to touch it. Finally I prayed for strength to deal with my new reality and looked. Then I was depressed because of the railroad track looking scar due to the staples. Generally and EVERYONE I became acquainted with, has stitches that dissolve and scarring is minimal. My doctor had an attitude going into unexpected emergency surgery on a Friday early evening, stating she had plans. When I questioned about the choice to staple she said it was quicker! She also took the maximum amount of surrounding skin which prevented me from getting fat injection in the area for a new breast and I didn't want implants. I initially told them to take both breasts and was told they disagreed with "my" decision and refused to do it. Other than hearing, "cancer"; the experience was the worst of my entire life. There was no compassion or empathy afforded. I was just like a vehicle on the assembly line in a procedure that was routinely performed.
