I prefer the warrior skeletons due to the ascension of the other skills. The elder wand allows minions to cast on enemies when they are close to them

There's that one relic that makes you immune to status effects (I can't remember the name) that makes you not take damage from the lava, which makes this level a breeze

I had a run similar to this where I literally cleaned the shop out... like they didn't have anything left to sell because I had already bought all of the the relics. This was a couple updates back, so there wasn't quite as much stuff in the game at that point. Adjusting the skill transparency is a necessity though. 😆

To unlock the final character you leave the shop 7 times without buying anything, you can get the crystal but you can't buy anything. You can do it on any mode.

I think you have surpassed the skill envelope for this game, which is weird because it has absolutely no issues with dropping you into a situation where the only way to dodge is to have never been there in the first place. Shrine respawning is a big boost to progression, but it _feels_ (emphasis added because it's an impression, not an analysis) like it really only ever doubles your progression rate in a run? Like, unusually large XP attraction should do more to push you ahead than extra relics and weapons - though relics do tend to go hard in this game. I would have to watch this whole thing again in slow-mo, or watch a bunch more runs to build a comparison, but I think the unsung hero here is probably the Necromancer class feature. Those guaranteed stat boosts just for levelling up were themselves the equivalent of a bunch of half-strength relics or getting a free rare chest every time the ability granted you something. I can see why she was an unlockable.

This is basically easy mode difficulty. Trust me it gets much harder BUT I don’t believe this game is as true a roguelike compared to most.

I find KAOS to be a more OP char maybe the most OP? I havent tried all of them yet but i ve tried KAOS and Alruna on this same Expert map and KAOS felt better.

I'm not a fan of the way KAOS plays. Up to about Rag 4 I've found Amaranth to be pretty much unstoppable

With your progress you should have all the requirements met. You should just need to go into the shop 7 times and not interact with anything, just leave the shop as soon as it loads in. After that, M.I.S.S.I.N.G. should be unlocked. Quite the interesting character.

Wouldn't it be faster to finish a run? Since the first wave is fairly long but the 2nd one is pretty short, and just leave both shops?

@@gamingwithjeff yes, finish the run. The last room where you can only buy stuff from the merchant character also counts as a shop. So 2 runs without interacting with the shop in any way, then on your 3rd run you only have to skip shopping once. I just ran midgard on normal to do it, but I had to run it 4 times cause I thought I could grab the free ascension crystals in the first 2 shops.

If you are going to consider a character broken then let it be Ragnarok+ difficulty. This toon doesn’t hold a candle to several others in RagX. Blud is outright broken.
