Love its looks love the bike and would love to ride it, but the wings have got to go. They're only purpose would be to provide downforce in a curve. It would have to be a fast curve to provide enough wind to give any benefit. And you'd pretty much have to be going faster than I would be comfortable on public roads. Unless it's a track bike. But that minimal benefit is heavily outweighed by the drag. Do you want a parachute that will keep you from going 200 mph (or thereabouts)? Because this is how you have a parachute that keeps you from going 200 mph. The drag will win over the supercharger every time, and the problem will be worse the faster you go. You definitely need something longer than an airstrip to test this. But find the bikes top speed, then pull those winglets, and I bet you gain 20 mph. But that's not the real negative. At anything over 150, one little gentle rise in the road and 400 HP will lift the front tire. And those wings will grab the air and flip the bike like a pancake. That's what I would call those wings: Bike Flippers!
@TTSPerformance11 ай бұрын
So what are your credentials? It will do more than 218mph. The Superbusa has done 218mph with 50hp less. It has winglets too :)
@IanMacLeansnv11 ай бұрын
@@TTSPerformance Glad you were able to keep from wheelying or hitting any dips in your road surface or having any bad wind gusts at those speeds. How long did you maintain those speeds over 160? Because if it was only seconds at an airstrip, you may have dodged a bullet. From the bike flippers. kzbin.info/www/bejne/pJzGeIOcYst_jJIsi=pHNM7VyQ4-pixoNy&t=28 And how much faster does it go without wings / speed brakes? Love the bike, just think the flippers are dangerous as hell.
@TTSPerformance11 ай бұрын
@@IanMacLeansnv you don’t know anything. The bikes electronics stop flipping. The winglets create downforce so the electronics have less to do. Does 0-200 in 14 seconds no flips💪
@IanMacLeansnv11 ай бұрын
@@TTSPerformance You haven't addressed any of my points. Why would you need downforce in a straight line? You do understand that's drag, yes? Love the bike and the engineering otherwise...
@IanMacLeansnv11 ай бұрын
@@TTSPerformance Not sure electronically chopping power would save it once the wind has gotten under the flipper. Sensor probably not that pitch sensitive, most likely calibrated much more for low speed wheelies under throttle.
