Take Hawk Eye, get 4/4 strike, you win. We did a lot of testing and this build is both reliable and very very strong. Runs onn DM10 were able to kill Dad surprisingly fast

@@paatwo poison is really good too thanks to the syringe. Hoonter has built-in high crit rate so the syringe triggers a lot. I'd say bleed builds are way less useful on him though

You say you can feel death approaching every time you pop Orc, but I think everyone else can feel it too. If you get the chance, I'd be interested in seeing a build where you try to get the most out of Mercury Hearts. The ability to no-sell a number of hits feels like it should be really abusable, in a way the other defenses aren't.

Also on the omen Sun Moon item, it has a self synergy that is pretty OP but puts you at 2 omen by itself, might be the single strongest item possible to obtain and is worth removing every other item in your inventory if you have the omen sun moon item if you dupe slime.

I think the best way to fix Hunter would be to reward his concentration. Similar to how the soldier skull builds a charge as he hits with concentrated strikes, I was thinking hunter should build a charge that allows him to place his traps down as another skill like ghouls hook. This would allow him to escape danger more easily as his traps would stun approaching enemies. Maybe legendary hunter rewards this with extra damage to trapped enemies. It would even add another skull that uses stun similar to minotaur so hunter could make use of dizziness more easily. The main reason I thought of this was because I want hunter to play into himself and also play differently from warrior. The one thing that makes hunter stand out is his swap placing a trap that no other skull has. Out of curiosity, I'm curious what some other ideas are.

I recently experienced that if the king slime duplicates the Solar item, it still fuses them. I got the Solar sword at that time and KS give me a second one: it has become an item that gives me 100% of physical damage. It still does that Aurora thing as well. But all red. It was beautiful!

the thing about hunter and why hes my favorite skull is that he might not be the kind of nuking skull as everyone usually prefers but he can do pretty high dmg still and at a really consistent pace, so its not crazy dmg sometimes but it is always decent, plus its got passive crit which allows to do a lot of different stuff. Thats also why poison hunter its the best, if u get the srynge and approaching death the run is basically over

You unlock new dark tech (the constructs where the witch is in hard mode) as you clear the difficulties for the first time. The shop upgrades are among these unlockables. Once you've done it once, they stay forever so you can return to doing HM 0 if you want. But they're only for hard.

Found today by some light datamining that strike straight-up multiplies your base damage by 2.7. It's not bad at all. 11:35 - At 53% crit rate and 2.05x crit damage, the expected damage is (2.7 * 30% * 53% * 2.05) + (70% * 53% * 2.05) + (47% * 1) = 2.11x. Essentially dealing double damage, on average?
