Did you know that the difference between meteors and meteorites is that meteorites have the 'rite' stuff to pierce our atmosphere without burning up. Meteors always burn up in the atmosphere; meteorites do not.

It's more that a meteor is what it's called while it's falling through the atmosphere and it's called a meteorite after it lands. If it burns up it never becomes a meteorite and if it never enters the atmosphere it never becomes a meteor.

Whenever I got Warlock I was like 'Oh yeah, this run is in the bag'. Stand back, charge up meteor, and then everything in a 5 square mile radius is dead. Clears half the map without even moving.

I love Warlock so much, might be my favorite magic skull tbh. It’s a different and fun playstyle with some absurd damage bursts. I’ve been really enjoying your content, as I work to get better at Skul myself, and see everything there is. Is there a chance you could attempt a poison build sometime? I’ve never been able to make it feel remotely impactful. 😢

Hey Beelz, quick tip I learned recently through trial and error. If there’s a good npc that shows up early in your run like a reroll or a king slime, but you don’t need it yet, as long as you don’t release it, it can actually show up later in the run. Hope this helps if you didn’t already know

Don't worry I've known about this for a LONG time. You might see comments sometimes yelling at me to talk to some NPCs. If you break their cage but don't talk to them they might come back. But if you have a convo with them, it checks them off the list. I often just ignore NPCs or don't worry too much about it because over time I've gotten lazy with optimizing. I kinda just do the run with the mentality of ''Shit happens I guess'' lol.

I still think we should have gotten a neutered version of Dark Skul as a secret unlock. Side note, there's something neat about having Kingslayer versus The First Hero at the stage transition, where it makes it look like he managed to deflect death itself at the cost of his sword.

omg @beelz ive played skul for about 50 hours. im struggling a lot, i get caught on bosses. i take shield boy in, not even with parry, and get to the priestess again. easy. i wasted my respawn but hey it works whatever. i get to dad, die, reset. i run it again, i get to priestess and save my respawn somehow. leroy jenkins thru dads first phase and defense my way thru 2nd. i beat the first clear in under an hour!!! thank you for the tips

I had been meaning to get around to it, along with Nightmare. This was around the time I was on Astral Ascent and then Hades 2 dropped out of nowhere. It really bungered everything up. I'll definitely check it soon-ish (maybe). It's on the radar at the very least, that much I can assure you.

Prioritize inscriptions when it comes to your items. A strong item on its own can be good, but you also need good synergy. Wisdom/Courage are the best damage boosters for Phys/Mag. Anything that gives you damage amplification like Execute, 4/4 Mana Cycle, Duel etc are also very good. Revenge is the best defensive one (you only need 2/2 but going 4 isn't bad), but Antique and Fortress are very good as well.

At the time I couldn't remember if it was literally the same room or the one before it. It's why I got paranoid about missing the priest lady. In my defense though (excuses), he has a better chance to get Kaboom if we reroll 2 skills as opposed to his 1 skill at Rare. So MAYBE I was subconsciously going for safer strats.... (please believe this obvious lie)
