I have an uruk called Lûga Puppet Master, and he is the most loyal uruk ever. He sneaks up on my and gives me an uruk who has treasure... literally giving me the uruk. He saves me from any uruk who actually poses a major threat to me, and he does extreme amounts of damage to captains. He killed a level 85 in two blows. I just hope he never betrays me. I once had a level 50-ish orc defend me during a siege at point A. Was supposed to be a fodder orc for the first point, he ended up killing everyone captain who dared enter point A and became an unstoppable level 80 orc not even halfway through the siege and singlehandedly killing every enemy captain.

Loot boxes are gambling imo, just because the ESRB said it isn't gambling doesn't mean that's the truth, the ESRB isn't the law, nor an officially appointed government body in charge of establishing video game-based laws. They are a company All they do is decide what games are rated based off the content in them, their company personally believes loot boxes aren't gambling, which makes sense as a business move considering the sales lost with each increase in rating of a game. The gambling part is for each governing body of a country to decide on when they feel the need to. Having loot boxes considered gambling would most likely be considered a Mature theme considering the age required to gamble legally, which would force games with loot boxes to don that rating and detract from the audience a game can be sold to. I wouldn't be surprised in the least that there was pressure and encouragement from publishers to the ESRB to make this statement, but again, the ESRB has no legal jurisdiction over what loot boxes are legally considered. Here is a quote from the wikipedia page about the ESRB: "The ESRB ratings system is not enforced under federal laws in any of the countries where it is actively used, although it is enforced under provincial laws in some regions of Canada." The ESRB is only enforced via the voluntary leverage of North American video game companies and retail industries, so using their statement to further your argument about loot boxes not being gambling holds no water really. There are also other rating systems outside of the ESRB, like PEGI, that have made no official statement on this, so there is practically no legitimate consensus, both legally and socially, as to if it's gambling or not.

Technically, according to the gambling laws at that time, they wern't gambling. Granted, the ESRB had to jump through hoops to get to that conclusion, which tells you plenty about their integrity, but they didn't just straight out say it, they actually relied on the law there. However, in at least two countries, lootboxes ARE in fact gambling, and hopefully this goes further out. That way, their one excuse won't hold anymore.
