Oro with 1 arm being on the level of Akuma is just kinda wild. You every try fighting with 1 arm? That’s not fighting at 50% or even 40% probably closer to 35%. With another arm, not only do you gain another arm you gain a whole pool of different techniques, set ups, follow ups, angles, defense options and do stuff at the same time you couldn’t before. Using only 1 arm is a way bigger nerf than people realize. Not even factoring in the upgrades to his mystical arts, the upgrades is probably closer to triple than double his current power.

According to the stories, he also taught them physical culture and the foundation for Kung Fu. According to legend, he demonstrated Kung Fu but at first refused to teach the monks. Impressed beyond words and looking for a way to demonstrate sincerity one of the monks followed him for 13 years begging to learn. One winter night, Damo promised that he would teach him when red snow fell from the sky. took up a sword and cut his own arm off. With this action he showed that he believed so much in Damo's Kung Fu that losing an arm would be trivial if he got a chance to understand and master the system. Damo Saw the snow colored by the spray of blood fall to the ground and moved by this sacrifice and the disciples obvious confidence, he relented. This first disciple and excelled his master in the art. This story clearly influences Oros Shaolin half jacket look and him fighting as if one armed.

Here are my top ten strongest Street Fighters: T-1. Oni/Shin Akuma (or Akuma at his strongest)/Oro with both arms (or Oro at his strongest) T-2. Regular Akuma and Oro with one arm 3. Gouken (He can give Akuma a good fight and he survived Akuma with the power of Nothingness. Plus, he is the master of Ken and Ryu.) 4. Gill (The reason why I have at him as number 4 is because of his resume. He threw away fight against Urien, to get promoted as Emperor and he was one shotted by Akuma in SF3 Third Strike and might have let Alex kick the crap out of Gill at the end of SF3. That said, Gill is strong in terms of abilities [e.g., he can resurrect himself and use his devastating Serrafic Wing which can lots of damage.] He needs to be brought back in Street Fighter 6 along with Urien. Also, he is the boss after M. Bison, and if he is the boss after M. Bison, it means he is even stronger than M. Bison and M. Bison is no joke.) 5. Speaking of which, M. Bison being Amped by the Black Moons or by full Pyscho Power (SF5 Bison and SF Alpha 3 Bison or Bison at his strongest) 6. SF6 Ryu or Ryu at his strongest (Remember he had training from Oro and he is physically stronger and faster than he was in Street Fighter 3: Third Strike. I still do not think he can beat the other fighters on his own, but he could probably now give some of these fighters a run for their money including Gill.) 7. Regular M. Bison or SF2 and SF4 M. Bison 8. Gen (He fought Gouken before and gave Gouken a good fight when they were younger.) T-9. Urien and Seth and JP (Seth and JP were joke bosses and Urien is slightly weaker than M. Bison and is probably on par with Seth and JP but stronger than Sagat) 10. Sagat (SF 1 and 2 and SF Alpha 1-3 Sagat or Sagat at his peak) Honorable mentions: Ken (he can give Ryu a decent fight and he was pupil of Gouken along with Ryu) SF5 Cody (or Cody without his chains) Juri Han (In a SF4 cartoon, Chun Li, Guile and Cammy all struggled with Juri.)

It’s like no matter what, you end up sacrificing something for power anyways. Sacrifice your humanity like Gouki and become a monster or sacrifice your dignity and become a shriveled old pervert like Oro. Oro’s is obviously the correct path. No more Evil Ryu can’t wait for Pervert Ryu.
