I liked how the Udon comic refined Rose's origin that she absorbed Bison's good side after he killed their master. This was a good job of combining both origins.

I was in love with Rose back in the 90s. Her soul abilities were unique at the time and she was a new female fighter in the series. When I learned that she is connected to M. Bison my jaw dropped. It made sense tho because out of every character I played with vs. Bison she felt more natural to me against him I didn't get the pit in my stomach. I was confident using her.

Thanks for doing this video of my top 5 favorite female SF characters. Rose is really underrated in my opinion and like you said, I too hope that she gets a prominent role in SF6. I love the interaction between her and Menat in SF5. And there’s even fan art love for the both of them.

Fun fact, Cammy was also supposed to be Bison as well. She was brainwashed and remade to be a vessel for him incase bison died, but obviously that didn't turn out as planned. Basically the same story as Seth in sf4, only the character is actually not boring

Is it weird that I think Rose was actually ment to be a Character that was gonna be in Darkstalkers:The Night Warriors 1 year before she was in Street fighter Alpha but was scrapped and put into SFA because Capcom Was gonna create a Witch for Darkstalkers but they decided to stick with Morrigan and Felica as the main 2 Female Characters on the roster and they put Rose in Street fighter

I remember there was a theory going around for a while that Rose is actually Anita as an adult. I don't think it was ever confirmed but it would've been a cool way to connect the Darkstalkers universe to the Street Fighter universe.

Its a shame that rose was at the end of sfv playable. My main alwAys was rose and i always been attracted to her fightstyle. I remember picking her up the first time in 90s when my dad let me visit the arcade at vacation. I will be upset if rose is not one of the first characters in SF 6 !!!!

She was arguably the ultimate secret weapon on the Alpha series. Counters for pretty much everything, ridiculous speed, massive reach and a comparatively tiny hit box. Her hit ratio was off the table too! Much like players who opted for Karin, they know things you don't.

Probably one of the most undervalued characters in Street Fighter. She's supposed to be the opposite of M. Bison (Vega)! You know, one of the strongest character in SF!! Also, a shame there's not a lot of information about Rose herself and hers powers. Also, please don't use "gypsy" (it's usually a slur). Use "romani" or "roma" if you're refering to the ethnic group.

Good video.👍I believe Street Fighter 6 will probably be tied in with 3rd Strike and New generation. Rose; most likely, probably saw visions of Gill and the Luminati and will probably try to time travel to stop them early. Also she'll probably return to an earlier Street Fighter to try and kill Bison; again, for the umpteenth time to prevent future events from taking place. This is just my humble opinion. Whatever the case I dog Rose and can't wait to see what she'll do next.

I have never stopped covering entire series of games, I covered a Golden Axe game last week and I have a video on Battletoads Arcade on Patreon coming to the main channel on Sunday. I literally give the people what they ask for most.

I watch your videos to support the channel, but I had to fast forward through the Grand Champions video because it was just a combination of all the retrospectives that you had previously released. I can’t be the only one that thinks these character retrospectives are getting tiresome. At least the Terry Boggard video was a departure because it wasn’t street fighter.
