The EZ peak dual only charges nimh packs, 2s lipos, and 3s lipos, but the live dual will charge nimh packs, 2s lipo, 3s lipo, and 4s lipo, and will charge faster.

That USB port in the new charger could be used if you have a radio with a rechargeable battery in it plug it in while charging you’re batteries.

I’m getting that one next because I just got my Erevo 2.0 plus the traxxas EZ peak dual charger with 8amps with 100watts. But mine don’t have blue tooth. But ima get the one with 26amps 200watt. My next one is the EZ-Peak live charger with Bluetooth. I love traxxas and I’m gonna be a sponcer for traxxas soon.

Guess what I'm from the future and all my traxxas batteries still work 5 years later. Mud rain snow heat cold. Not one of them has puffed up not one of them has degraded and I have a cell checker to check all of that.

This is a great set up. The ONLY reason I don't want to run Traxxas batteries is their low discharge (C) ratings.

There platforms are great like slash and xmaxx. But there electronics are garbage. There batteries and chargers ok. I wish they were at least 35c 50c would be great.

@@jackberger3752 Maybe there is a good reason why they are not doing 35c and 50c battaries :) A company like TRAXXAS could easily do these things, but they do not. So I thought maybe there is a good reason for this. Just a thought. :)

One 5800 Mah 2s Traxxas Lipo $59, Four 5000 Mah 2s Tower Hobbies Lipo's $89... I do still use the two Traxxas Lipo's and the single port ID charger that I bought for my Rustler VXL when I first got into the hobby back in August, but now seven 1/10 RC Trucks and one 1/8 Truggy later I'd be lying If I said that its so much better having a Venom Pro Duo Charger and 4 Lipo's that I didn't even spend $200 on....

Is it ok to charge a lipo at a higher rate the than the rates capacity? I thought a 5000 mah battery could only be charged at 5 amps. Has something changed?

David Orr if it says it has 2c or what ever c charge rate I believe you can then double the amps to charge it

Realistically you should only charge at 1c with many batteries, but generally up to 2c is ok.

Hey Greg! I have a question, I already have a single ez peak live, I was thinking of buying a duel but the basic plus one. Will my single live charge 2 packs as fast as a dual plus?? I was debating whether to drop some serious coin on this charger, only have the UDR first TRAXXAS electric in twenty plus years, I run 5th scale gas up to seven of them. I have one problem with my UDR setting the telemetry and connecting it to my mobile I bought all sensors and control module needed for it, and still nothing then read on facebook I did not need to have bought the module and sensors as you can apparently do so with the TRAXXAS link and app via the ESC, also just added the lights and cant find the app to have the dashboard on my androids and phone along with the telemetry. HELP please could you do a tutorial as I am a complete newbie on electric, apps and all things with an ESC the only one I have is a Venom VMX 450 motorcross bike and never had a problem real plug and play, I am having to run it on Supermoto tyres as my knobblies wore out and you cant get them anymore I have two sets of Supermoto tyres, any idea where to get the knobblies from, or a complete basket case for spares as it is now unavailable so another help please.

I like their chargers but their batteries are low discharge rate junk. I think traxxas heavily supports rcdriver so they push alot of their products with always great reviews they give them.

The charger seems nice for novice or beginners , but would have been better if it came with banana plugs so it could be more universal. For people that don't want any issues of messing around with settings it's a nice idea but if forces you to choose only their battery connector. My nephew has the smaller charger of the bunch to charge his Traxxas Nimh packs and the charger does a lot of false peaks compared to real charger (like an Hitec X2 AC Plus Black Edition) Be aware you are buying a very limited charger when you choose this. once people see the price of the big one they could look around a find a better deal in another brand easy and never need a cell phone connected via Bluetooth
