Storm was *always* a powerhouse since the start. They constantly hinted at this and sometimes showed it whenever she "lost control of herself". The reason she's more important now is because Charles has taken a backseat. He always coddled her and was afraid of letting her take charge even though he not only knew her potential but specifically made her his 2nd hand. Now that Chuckie's "Bruce Banner-esque" emo issues aren't holding them back, Storm is finally doing what she was meant to do in the first place.

Interesting point about the original (time traveling) Nimrod. As it was around people longer, he changed and stopped being just a robot that attacked/killed mutants. He took a human persona (Nicholas Hunter) was worked a construction job. At this point he wasn't looking for a fight or even to cause trouble, he was trying to help people. Then he ran across a piece of the Master Mold and it took over his body and he did NOT like it at all and was actually cheering on the X-Men who were fighting it. Then we got the whole Siege Perilous thing that turned him into Bastion. I always had an idea that Bastion was only the Master Mold and that Nimrod got separated from it, but that never happened. 😥 sm

It IS a pity it's all so rushed. But mostly, the payoffs feel right. Storm is absolutely the queen right now and her totaling all the Nimrods is so satisfying. The Dominion's nemesis being the Phoenix was hinted at by Hickman back when he first introduced the concept in Powers of X, so it feels long overdue. Since we first saw Jean in the White Hot Room, we've all known that she's being saved for Enigma, but it's been poorly paced. Hopefully will read better when all collected. But i've LOVED the Krakoan era as a whole, and your vids have deepened the enjoyment. Many thanks my brother! 🙏🏾

And you’re always right about what we want to see. However I have just a tiny bit of constructive criticism. You should just make two edits of each video that are going to be on a playlist for complete story arks. This way when someone is watching an entire (story arc playlist( SAP) they don’t have to listen to you explaining a character or an event over and over and over again in every video on a (SAP). and if want to take a video from a playlist and post it as a one off, you can edit the same video, adding in those explanations. 🤷🏽‍♂️ just an idea.

Just look at where the mutant's powers come from to truly see their potential. Storm can control the earth's atmosphere, so if she'd go berserk she could end all life on earth. She literally has the power to control the air we breathe, how much water is available to drink, and can control the hottest form of heat on earth: lightening. She's almost like a living planet.

This doesn't feel rushed at all. It is a culmination of events across the last year or so of events. I get that you may want more, but that doesn't mean what you have currently is bad, rushed, forced, or any other negatively connotated expression.

@@deeman010gdj in this particular instance this story is not rushed. Rob even said he wants one shots of individual characters fighting Nimrod, that is not the solution to a "rushed" story. That is simply wanting more story. The fall of X started all the way back with the HellFire Gala about a year ago. Since then we have had several stories from several perspectives including Iron Man. This portion of the story has been fleshed out as completely as could be and must reach a conclusion. So as I said, this story is not rushed. I want more too, but that doesn't mean the story is rushed.

It does feel like they brought it to a close a little quickly, but I think they did it really REALLY well. This is infinitely better than defenders or how they handles the most recent story with the beyonder. I noticed it felt like a loooooot was going on for a while there. The trial of Cyclops, the war on orrako, the children of the vault, ect. I think bringing it to a close so they can focus on the story line they built up the most (enigma) is the right plan.
