racism now is a lot different and more subtle than it was in the 1800s its less "kill the nigger" and more "I'm fine with them existing as long as they do it someplace else and know that they're inferior." even then there are still far worse people than him in America today.

Both of the previous answers were only partially correct. Bob Dylan has said it. Janis Joplin did sing it (but not the first artist to do so). The lyrics for the song were penned by Kris Kristofferson. It's also very close to one of the three core tenets of Buddhism. Paraphrasing, 'because nothing is permanent, a life based on possessions doesn't make you happy.' It's often explained as: you are a slave to anything you are unwilling to part with.

@@nameisamine To the guy's situation, a biracial grandchild would mean not biologically his, and infidelity from his wife. I am not saying the guy isn't heavily prejudiced. But its not as simple as saying he'd ditch his own child if it was bi-racial... It was a simple question regarding a more complex situation and likely he unemotionally was stating 'I wouldn't raise a kid that wasn't mine'... and there was no real racial context to his answer in the first place. Playing devils advocate here. The guy certain operates via his prejudices... Just saying your conclusion based on a answer to that simple question, void of most of its' context isn't really substantiating.

I live in a county of 200,000 people and we've gone 2 years without a single murder. Is it racist to want to live peacefully and not have to worry about being robbed while walking down the street? Yeah exactly certain races are too sensitive when it comes to hard facts😂. My white friends get so pressed when I tell them that Asians have far higher average incomes in the U.S. while also having far higher average sat scores. Asians also commit a significantly lower proportion of crimes. whites also make up a highly dispositional amount of school shootings and p3dos in America. Unfortunately a lot of whites are too emotional to accept these facts 😢😢😢😢.

The rest of us are law abiding citizens like our non black counterparts. When you compare poor people you see something closer to the heart of the issue: poor Black people and poor white people were found to commit violent crimes at similar rates: 46.4% for white people and 43.4% for Black people

I know more than one man that thought they was raciest enough to disown thier child and mixed grand child, but thank goodness they wasn't. One of the men I know, ended up raising his mixed grand daughter and she had his whole heart. When a person becomes a grand parent, just like when becoming a parent, you don't know or can't understand that kind of love until you become one. I love my kids with all of my heart and soul, but my grand baby's are another level of love and just in aww with them. I recently started watching ya'll, first seen your reaction to a song. Then I went to ya'lls channel and seen that you do more than just music. Ya'll seem to have your eyes wide open and I like to think and hope it's bc things have gotten better. Ya'll keep going, you are going to help others open their eyes. We are all here just wanting the same things, to be happy, healthy, loved and more importantly to be in love. BTW, I don't know if ya'll noticed, but there was a lot of editing. The mans mouth was moving more than there was words heard. I'm not saying he didn't say those things but what else was said 🤔.

The fear of exercising your rights is what stops you from exercising your rights, not the government. The government is literally not capable of taking away our rights, they're only capable of infringing upon them. As a black person, old dude just doesn’t come close to truly racism I’ve experienced. His just keeping it 💯 on his beliefs

And another black person here to say he comes across as old and racist. That’s it. All other things mystifying him when you can hear what he says by your average run of the mill guy from his area in that town that just won’t say the same thing on camera or worse. He shouldn’t be getting praise

@@justjoshua5759 first and foremost idk the man, nor care enough to mystify him. Everyone is built with their own preconceived prejudice, if they say otherwise they are lying. I am stating he is just honest about his, well most of the world with cop out with “i don’t see color” or “i had a black friend once”

@@justjoshua5759agreed. Just because he's funny doesn't mean all his thinking is right.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion whether others agree with it or not. As long as you don't go hurting people because of it. This guy's honesty about how he feels is refreshing. Each to their own.
