This follows OG Backrooms Lore. The OG lore has entities but encountering one was just as rare as actually no clipping into the backrooms. The entity was used perfectly in this game. Enough to scare you and at the same time you don't have to worry about sneaking around and dying hundreds of times. The idea of the Backrooms was never meant to run and avoid entities more then walking through the Backrooms for eternity never knowing where you are and never knowing if you were going in circles because of areas looking the same, your mind slowly going insane and like he said in video asking if anyone is there even tho you know the answer will be no. The feeling of loneliness helps drive you mad.

32:01 I have a reason to believe that the hallway right across the gap is the one from the Found Footage by Kane Pixels. The hallway across has same walls and the color of floor boards are the same. Also in the found footage video that hallway looks very similar to the one in The Complex. That is great attention to detail and just the idea of that is amazing!

This game was really neat. The realism was insane. I didn’t mind the shakiness of the running, but I can understand how some would be affected. I’m disappointed there weren’t any captions, but beggars can’t be choosers. The “monster” was a little goofy, but I loved how it felt like something was constantly following and watching, but you could never see it. The slow burn to realizing something is there looking at you was agonizing. Overall, not a bad game!

The backrooms was originally a concept that was fuel by providing the viewer a sense of paranoia. This game does an amazing job at showing how you don't need monsters everywhere for something to be scary. The fear of the unknown alone is more than enough.

As I haven’t seen any other comment mentioning it, the tall figure seen in this game is far more horrifying than it seems. I don’t know the whole story, but there is a certain video on the dark web of two people wearing those costumes, forcing a man to eat. It doesn’t sound very bad at first but then you learn what the food is made of. If I remember correctly, it was the meat of the man’s family (I think wife or daughter). I’m not sure if this video is real (I doubt it is) but I still find it scary. Knowing this and seeing that costume makes me feel physically sick, especially in a place like the backrooms. Oh this is definitely my new favorite Backrooms experience, it looks like you fell into a Kanepixels video and I love it. The slightly shakey camera movement isn't over the top imo and I appreciate the lack of head bobbing as the camera is clearly held close to the MC's chest and not strapped to their forehead, so that adds some nice realism with just a touch of graininess in the camera filter to add to the surreal, gritty feel of the Backrooms I've come to expect. This was great and I'd love to see more from this creator if more comes out ^^ P.S. As for the ending though, Ryan you total goof, that's clearly English ivy or a close relative and that's a temperate plant so that did make me laugh that you said "rainforest" lol

The Complex, both games were especially patient testing after awhile of hoping you're in the right direction, both are exceptionally close to the source material(s)! Speaking of which, theres this channel that does very good backrooms found footage stuff they are called “Lost in the Hyperverse” their footage is INSANE! Its a whole lore full story as well (about 8 parts or more?) and I recommend reacting to it. But anyway this is a very good game gives me shivers down my spine at some points!
