I'm Tahltan, my family is actually from Telegraph Creek. Our other reserve is called Iskut, you must have passed that about 3 hours before Dease Lake. I'm really happy to see such a large viewership for anything to do with our nation. Thank you. I'm surprised you didn't run into any crazy Tahltan drivers. A lot of us like to take that road in a lot more dangerous manner.

I thank you for taking me on this adventure with you by video. I could feel what you were experiencing and it was incredible.I am now 77 years old an I think I have always missed a woman like you who loves the same kind of adventures like you do, and is not afraid to explore the world to the degree that you do. It is no longer possible that I could do this on my motorcycle, but I now have a 4 wheel drive truck and camper which is being especially prepared and just about ready and I am about to take off doing exactly what you are doing and I intend to explore North America, including the most remote places as much as possible and i intend to so till my very last day, so I will leave no home base to come back to. Amongst my regrets is that it took me too long to discover to be true that the world belongs to those who confront their fears and reach a point to make this kind of choices, so I admire you with the greatest degree of respect.

Wonderful as usual the best channel on KZbin you were talking about projects that had technology stop them,if you are ever in the high desert of southern California there is a place called Burro Schmidt's tunnel,he decided to make a tunnel so he could charge the wagons a toll to go down to Mojave He started it and spent his life digging this tunnel until they built a wagon road bypassing it,It starts out high and gets lowered and lower as he got older and older,then finally makes a 90 turn out the side of the mountain. If you want to see some amazing scenery try the Eastern Sierra Keep safe

Noraly, you and Alaska take us to places that we had no idea existed!! It is amazing how well developed and maintained the dirt roads are almost everywhere in Canada. I wonder who pays for all of this. Certainly the sparse Indigenous populations do not have the tax funding for such excellent roads. Maybe the mining companies? Also, looks like a massive wildfire went through this area sometime ago. Such an interesting piece of this massive country, wonder if Salmon are able spawn in the beautiful pristine area. Again, thank you for this wonderful series. Be safe.

@GoldVP... 2 жыл бұрын
Lol not sure where you get your knowledge on western Canada, but no the gravel roads are not well maintained, only those where heavy equipment frequently drive, but even that is sparse. As for salmon, there are many rivers that keep seeing the spawning salmon return, like pinks, chum, coho, but many others don't spawn in rivers

Public Road maintenance in BC is all funded with BC public tax $. Mining industries are greedy and will only fund road maintenance cost for their own private access road (Yes of course, private industries can be argued that they indirectly fund public road maintenance via their business provincial income taxes)

Chey Jan, it's not a massive wildfire but a tiny beetle... You may look it up on Wikipedia (pine bark beetle): "In western North America, a recent outbreak of the mountain pine beetle and its microbial associates has affected wide areas of lodgepole pine forest, including more than 160,000 km2 (40 million acres) of forest in British Columbia."

Omg! Looks like you're riding in the sky with those low-lying clouds all over. Truly amazing surrounding. Must be quite cold out there. So that's the reason for the new suit. You don't seem to feel cold at all. You're an all-weather rider. You never cease to be impressive. The drone shots are stunning and so admirable. Even the unpaved road is great, better than the rough roads of south and central america. Constant Road maintenance is evident in Canada. Good job, Canada! Canada has a vast wealth of beautiful places, almost pristine flora and fauna. Add to that the white mountains, glaciers, evergreen trees. Thank you so much, Noraly, for all the great views. Ride on safely.
