Day 18: what happens when you use sand instead of thermal paste in your PC

Your PC would overheat. Obviously. Thermal paste is meant to fill the gaps between the copper on the IHS and the copper on the cooler. It's also meant as a thermally conductive material. Sand, on the other hand, would be good at neither because it would go everywhere, would be unable to cool the IHS, And it's not even thermally conductive.
