My grandma even into her latest years polished her nails with shimmers similar to these and it is giving me feels. I used to paint her nails after she became too shaky to do it 😭💔🧡 we had a rocky relationship because she didn’t always love me (in spite of my best efforts) but those moments were so special and moments I always remember fondly. She passed away while I was on my honeymoon, but the day of my wedding we had the sweetest goodbye. SOMEHOW POLISH IS BRINGING ALL THIS OUT AND IM HERE FOR IT. 😘🥰

Yes! THE YELLOW WALLPAPER is a short story by Charlotte Perkins Gilman and it has stuck in my head since I read it as a kid! Absolutely amazing and recommend. When I re-read it as an adult it and realized the time it was written (1892), it became even more powerful. Really makes you think about how terribly women were treated at the time, and sadly still are to this day.
