These chords are part of what I like to call "The Love Progression." This beautiful chord progression has been used in countless love songs including Can You Feel The Love Tonight by Elton John, She Will Be Loved by Maroon 5, and the classic wedding piece Canon In D by Pachelbel. In this lesson, you'll learn:
-The romantic piano chords and progression
-The essential left-hand piano accompaniment for the progression

Thanks for your time to help everyone that love piano music. What can I do to start learning about your lesson. Do you have any book? I have little knowledge about music theory but it's not enough I really need a lot of practice to succeed. Thank you again.

Jonny, your lessons are just what "the doctor prescribed" for me! I play classical music and can play by ear, but it's the improvisational skills the area I want to improve. Your instructions are very clear, precise, easy to follow, and give results - you are the best teacher and the nicest person! Thank you so much!

Jonny - As you may know by now I am transposing your technique to the accordion. I love this lesson in particular, because the left hand is kept simple. I would like to be directed to more of this. If you are familiar with the accordion, my LH is restricted in piano terms, but I can do all the base tones and if I take off my lower reeds, it sounds pretty much like a piano. Anyway, I can follow this easily. On some of your videos you call the left hand simple but in the end it's not so simple from my point of view. I also now understand more of the G/B type notation and I can do that using both left and right hands as you show. It's been a great help to me - please keep it up.

Good for you. I'm primarily a guitarist (and pianist) but I played accordion as a youngster about 60 years ago for a few years (it wasn't the chick magnet I had hoped for!). One thing you might try is to just play a bassline with your LH (which this is doing but just obscuring it a bit). Polyphony always sounds great.
