Have done Nazarite vow couple times, if you want to do it by all means. Just avoid food that contains all the listed ingredients including its derived ingredients and best to stick to old testament dietary laws. After you finish if you dont want to shave your hair you can cut bits of it then burn it as cutting the hair loosens you from the Nazarite vow completely. Offerings you can donate money just whatever God wants you do donate.

I took the nazerite vow after my father died. With no temple to end it I vowed until marriage. It is stated that a father can override the oath when stated. After marrage I went to the hospital willing to extend and renestate my vow. My father in law cut a lock while in the hospital dieing of cancer thus stating that my oath was over. We married in May he passed minutes before fathers day. Know what oath you are taking and know what it means

Number 6,20 The priest shall then wave these before the Lord as a wave offering; they are holy and belong to the priest, together with the breast that was waved and the thigh that was presented. After that, the Nazirite may drink wine. The last sentence confuses me. Anyone who can clarify 🙏.
@goodtreasureministries9008 Жыл бұрын
The argument that Jesus wasn’t a Nazarite because he drank wine doesn’t make sense. As stated the vow was for a period of time. The time length was any length of time decided by the oath taker but no less than 30 days. Part of the process of ending the vow required a mikvah, which is a ceremonial cleansing which requires immersion in “living water.” Some believe Jesus’ baptism was the end of his vow. Also as stated in the scriptures once the vow ended they drank wine. Numbers 6:20 (KJV) And the priest shall wave them [for] a wave offering before the LORD: this [is] holy for the priest, with the wave breast and heave shoulder: and after that the Nazarite may drink wine. There were 3 types of Nazarites. One for life, one for a length of time, and one like Samson. The type had to be specified by the person before the vow could be taken. And the rules for the 3 types differed. A nazarite for life could cut their hair once a year. As we see with Absalom. He cut his head bald in 2 Sam 14:16. The word polled means shaved bald. There’s so much more information on the vow. But Christians try to explain Jewish customs and practices by only looking at the scriptures. We paint such incomplete pictures by doing that.

When a person does research on the Memoir of Pontus Pilate, which he wrote to Tiberius in Rome regarding the Tumult and the accused Jesus/ Yahusha HaMeshiach of Nazareth, and the crucifixion. Pontus Pilate describes what Jesus/ Yeshua HaMeshiach looks like. Completely different from the normal Jew with dark eyes, black hair and beard in public, but rather with fair hair, fair eyes, and neat nearly shoulder length hair... Please do not believe what I share or post, but please research and test it. P.S. The original (Latin version) and an English translation with it, is in a private museum in Britain.

_"...our Savior Jesus Christ."_ God warned: 1. "Apart from me there is no savior." 2. "You shall have no other gods other than me". 3. "God is not a man." 4. "The LORD is one." Jesus cannot be the messiah- God specifically warned against worshiping false saviors such as Jesus! Isaiah 43:10 "Before me no god was formed, nor will there be one after me. I am the Lord, and apart from me there is no savior." Hosea 13:4 "Thou shalt know no God but me, for there is no savior other than me." Isaiah 45:5 "I am the Lord, and there is no other; apart from me there is no God." Exodus 20:2 and Deuteronomy 5:6 “You shall have no other gods other than me". Isaiah 44:6 "I am the first and I am the last; apart from me there is no God." Numbers 23:19 "God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind." Deuteronomy 6:4 God specifically stated that he is one: "Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one." Hosea 11:9 "For I am God and not a man." 1 Samuel 15:29 "And also the Glory of Israel will not lie or have regret, for he is not a man, that he should have regret.” God does not change: Malachi 3:6 For I am the Lord, I change not. Isaiah 42:8 "I am the Lord; that is My name! I will not yield My glory to another." Isaiah 7:14 prophesied that the messiah's name will be Emmanuel. But Emmanuel is not one of the many New Testament names of the Bible figure commonly known as Jesus. It is Biblically impossible for Jesus to be the messiah. Matthew 1:12 lists Jeconiah (also known as Jehoiachin or Coniah who succeeded Jehoiakim as king of Judah) as Jesus' ancestor, and God states in Jeremiah 22:30 that descendants of Jeconiah are cursed and that no ancestor of Jeconiah will ever sit on the throne of David (heaven) or ever rule in Judah.

I was curious thinking couldn't he have taken this vow after having the wine at the last supper knowing what was to come but more thought on it why would God take a vow to God, also he would be around dead bodies more than likely. But then again on the part why would God make a vow to God you could also wonder why he would also pray. Food for thought just random nonsense from me lol

The Apostle Paul took the vow of the Nazarite sometimes during his ministry work. As somebody who is currently under the vow of the Nazarite, I do find it as a very good constant reminder in my daily activity as to my service to the Lord and to others.

@@masonschaar3423 - There is not fasting prescribed but abstinence in your diet from products from the fruit of the vine. Vinegar is the BIG one. It’s in every condiment and salad dressing basically. As somebody who is under the vow, It’s been helping me focus on my service of presenting myself through my actions as holy and pure to him every day. And my service and commitment to others is always even more prevalent as well. I took the vow, partially because Paul the apostle had done it, because I truly believe that God called me to do so during this period in my life. A true blessing of service.

What religion are Samaritans? Samaritanism is the Abrahamic, monotheistic, ethnic religion of the Samaritan people, an ethnoreligious group who, alongside Jews, originate from the ancient Israelites. Its central holy text is the Samaritan Pentateuch, which Samaritans believe is the original, unchanged version of the Torah. Do Samaritans speak Hebrew? Today, the spoken vernacular among Samaritans is evenly split between Modern Israeli Hebrew and Palestinian Arabic, depending on whether they reside in Holon (Israel) or in Shechem (i.e. Nablus, in Palestine's Area A). How are Samaritans different from Jews? Among the most significant differences between the Samaritans and the Jews is the site which they believe God chose for his dwelling. While the Jews hold that God chose Mount Zion in Jerusalem, Samaritans believe he chose Mount Gerizim near Shechem. Who is the God of the Samaritans? "God is spirit and truth," says Jesus. Our God is God of both the Jews and the Samaritans. In fact, God is the spirit beyond both Samaritans and Jews. Beyond Jews and Gentiles. Status: The status of the Torah in Samaritanism as the only holy book causes Samaritans to reject the Oral Torah, Talmud, and all prophets and scriptures except for Joshua, whose book in the Samaritan community is significantly different from the Book of Joshua in the Jewish Bible. What is the difference between Hoshea and Joshua? The name Hoshea means “salvation,” the name Joshua means “YAHWEH is salvation.” In Jewish tradition it is believed that Moses is changing Joshua's name with an implied meaning of “May God save you from the conspiracy of the scouts.” Is hoshea And Joshua the same person? His name was Hoshea ( הוֹשֵׁעַ Hōšēaʿ, lit. 'Save') the son of Nun, of the tribe of Ephraim, but Moses called him "Yehoshua" (translated as "Joshua" in English), the name by which he is commonly known in English. According to the Bible, he was born in Egypt prior to the Exodus....
