Significant fluff (mistake to leed with critizism) & a lack of depth as to the porpose of the vow. Reason for the vow & structure is to set out on an expedition to establish trade &/or conquest by diplomacy at best, battle at worse. Ahh not many actually care so I will refrain from any further detail here.
