About Elise, she's not a professional chef. She's a personal trainer. She did some stuff in her first HK appearance that were so unacceptable that folks in the restaurant business wanted to know what kitchen she had been working at and getting away with them in and the folks in her hometown outed her as not actually being a working chef. I'm not sure if she went to culinary school or not but IIRC she calls herself a "personal chef" because she cooks for some of her training clients. She clearly got dragged along in that first appearance as far as possible just for the drama.

for me, amber from s19 was a super satisfying one. amber is a strong chef don't get me wrong, from the first few episodes I was like "oh yeah she's definately getting a black jacket" but she really let the moving to the blue team get to her and let pettiness get to her. you can see her downward spiral from there. she really doesn't give her team enough credit for their skills. nikki 100% deserved the jacket over her. she soooo got robbed. BUT all that being said, when amber got eliminated finally, it was a rock lifted from my shoulders.
@margarethmichelina5146
@margarethmichelina5146 Жыл бұрын
What's more embarrasing is, she's the only final 6 and Black Jacket who didn't keep her jacket. Even Nikki kept her jacket because of how much she progress throughout the competition. Ever since she moved to Blue Team, Amber becomes whiner, complainer, crybaby, and needs her teammate to babysit her. Even Marc who's equally annoying as her cheered her up on Cook for Your Life Challenge. Say what you want about Marc, but he at least support his team unlike Amber who's not exactly wanted to be in Blue Team. Don't forget in the finale, she complained to Kori for not picking her as her brigade since Kori picked Jordan until the morning on finale! What the fuck? Also, she made Mary-Lou lost because she struggled on fish station and made Mary-Lou switch her station with Cody. And her excuse is, "Oh yeah, Cody is her boyfriend. Of course, he's gonna be nice on her." No, Honey, you just suck at cooking fish. Also, Cody has been your teammate for many weeks and he knows your attitude very well.

It’s not necessarily an elimination, but seeing Russell lose to Nona in the Season 8 finale was incredibly satisfying for me, especially after seeing how they each treated their respective brigades in the finale. Nona trusted, respected, and believed in her team from the start. She knew how to keep them motivated, and even when someone really began to screw her over (Boris on the halibut, for instance), she handled the situation in a positive and professional way, while still making it clear that she was not going to put up with any BS. I won’t necessarily say she treated her team like family, but she did treat them with respect and show genuine gratitude for their work. On the other hand, not only did Russell’s faith in his team very quickly fall apart, but he kept repeating things like “urgency” and “this is MY day” as he kept pushing his team, resulting in food being sent out too soon and then promptly sent back, as well as a work environment so toxic that Chef Ramsay himself had to step in and tell Russell to get a grip. And of course, who can forget his now-infamous exit interview in which he vows to blackball his entire team as revenge for his loss? No matter how talented a chef may be individually, they don’t stand a chance at winning the final dinner service without a well-managed brigade. Nona treated her brigade like her comrades in arms (which they essentially were), but Russell treated his brigade worse than like his servants and ultimately like his worst enemies. That is what ultimately sealed Russell’s fate and secured Nona’s victory.
@HESHRocketWarhead
@HESHRocketWarhead Жыл бұрын
Russell at least walked back his comments later on in an interview, regretting his statements. He did pin it on his emotions though, saying that he'd only really had like five minutes to dwell on the loss when he was made to do a confessional reaction, so he was in the middle of recovering from that. Still, there are some things that are better left unsaid.

I half-expected my girl Robyn to make the list for her season 10 elimination (even though it was shown on the opening montage). She was absolutely made out to be one of the villains of the season, since I think they wanted another Elise out of her (since this was the season right after Elise). And when she got the boot, it cut to some of the others having a “Yes!” moment, giving very much a “the evil is defeated” vibe to it. She definitely had some funny moments and confessionals on that season, but you can tell they edited her to be a villain that time out, with her elimination being a sigh of relief. That said, her All-Stars elimination was actually a bit more emotional and kind of a downer, considering the growth and maturity she’d showcased on that season compared to her original one. Not to mention, she went from a possible early boot on that season to recovering quickly (even with a few struggles here and there) to becoming a narrator of the season and a fun personality overall. It was a redemption reminiscent of Ra’Jah O’Hara on Drag Race All-Stars 6.

@@rebeccamcdermott9259 there’s a reason I compared her to Ra’Jah O’Hara on Drag Race. Both of them were shown to have abrasive personalities that clashed with a lot of their competitors on their original seasons, and it sort of caused them to slip as the season went on. Then when they came back, they seemed like they were aware of how they came off on their original seasons, and sought to change that with a more positive outlook and personality. They both even said they were looking to change how they acted when they returned. During her fight with Elise, Robyn said something like “if you want to see Brooklyn come out, Sunset Park will come out, but I’m not about that this time”. And Ra’Jah opened her All-Stars run by saying “Now Ra’Jah is a bad b-tch, but Season 11 Ra’Jah, she was just a b-tch”. For me personally, the most satisfying elimination is Frank from S15. He’s by far my least favorite chef in the whole series for his blatant sexism, total lack of teamwork and accountability despite being a damn Marine, and complete disregard for his team, especially with how he relentlessly treated Manda (my favorite of the season) like utter dogshit. Seeing Manda outlast Frank is extremely satisfying and the karmic retribution he had coming People like to hate on S15, but it’s actually one of my favorite seasons, and while some of the nastier personalities stick around for a fairly long time, it does at least lead to an extremely satisfying stretch of episodes with the consecutive eliminations of Jackie, Frank, and Dannie

Frank's ego was absolutely insane. I always felt he really had a bad case of small man syndrome. When he was supposed to make dumplings for one of the challenges and folded them like perogies "because that was better" told you everything about his attitude toward taking orders from someone. I heard that after his time on the show he was reassigned from his position in the marines as an exec chef for generals because of his comments when he was eliminated.

Honestly, most of the casts in Season 15 are unlikable except for Ashley, Jared, Chad, Hassan, Messe, Eddie, Vanessa. Thanks for doing my request (even though I’m definitely not the only one who thought of this). If you do decide to do a two-parter, here are some ideas Matt and Jen S4 - Easily the most unlikeable chefs in the early seasons and seeing both getting eliminated before their rivals, Corey and Christina, was really nice Suzanne S6 - I loved the karma that she saw Tennille as the weakest chef and then she slowly became the weakest chef in the red team and her her sluggish attitude sucked as well Fran S7 - She had 1 good service, was nominated like 6 times, and made it to the final 8. How. Sabrina and Russell S8 - Do I really need to explain? Robyn S10 - I got sooooo mad when she got a black jacket over Brian, and felt justice when she got kicked off immediately afterwards Zach S11 - Outstayed his welcome by a large amount. How he stayed over Michael, Nedra, AND Anthony is something I’ll never understand Jennifer S13 - While one of the more forgettable villains, I still despised her and was baffled how she got to stay when she admitted she had cooperation issues Jackie and Frank S15 - Again, do I really need to explain this? Scotley and Trev S18 - Very unlikeable clash where it’s nigh impossible to support either side. I disliked Scotley more, but Trev was still really annoying. Amber S19 - I just found it funny she didn’t keep her jacket while Nikki did Matthew S20 - That was probably the absolute worst two day run in Hells Kitchen ever. I cheered when Ramsay didn’t even give him a chance to plea Spoilers for Season 21!! Alyssa S21 - Ooooooh she really rubbed me the wrong way so many times and her being unwilling to cooperate with her team was just infuriating. Easily the most satisfying elimination so far, for me at least.

And then when she was on Mary Lou’s final brigade team, she messed up on the chicken and got completely flustered. Kori definitely deserved to win, but If ever there was a reason why Mary Lou didn’t win, it’d be because of Amber and her selfish ways. imagine being the first to leave Hell's Kitchen. the show hasn't even started yet, and you're the first one to get kicked out. Yes, and imagine this shame. I'm actually very interested in what happened to everyone who was the first to be kicked out of hell's kitchen. and how their fate developed in the future

JR from season 3's tale is pretty satisfying. He spread rumours about Joanna to the other contestants so the editors eliminated him from the show entirely.

Adams elimination was so unfair. He was a great chef. I remember watching my that episode and being sp happy that Marc was about to leave, then when Ramsay said Adam my mouth literally dropped.
@rayewaddell9668
@rayewaddell9668 9 ай бұрын
Well to be fair, Adam needed more of a voice and the Garnish station should’ve been an easy station for him to coordinate with his team. Garnish drives the team in Ramsay’s restaurant so you definitely gotta communicate with your team. Adam failing to do that just showed Ramsay that he wasn’t ready to run his own restaurant.

Not going to lie, lovely use of Austin Powers at the end, and I'm so glad someone else thinks Elise is one of the most irritating people to be on Hell's Kitchen, and the fact Nick didn't back down from her chatback is the icing on the cake.

It made me like Jackie more believe it or not, because after she dutifully took over the station as requested, she put it perfectly in her confessional. It doesn't matter if you're not in the final, you don't walk off the line to try and sabotage someone else's chances of winning.

I wouldn't call Elise's elimination satisfying. I would call it bittersweet. To this day I can never get past one or two episodes of Season 9 because of her and it is bs, in my opinion, that she was able to get that far. The bittersweet comes from the possibility that so many deserving chefs got thrown out early just to keep her in. The only silver lining in the All-Star season was watching Nick stand up to her. (Geez I really wanted Nick to win.)
