Not to mention that the people that play these types of servers are just so demanding, I get like 3 questions every minute or something, when only 10-20 players are allowed online. As a plugin developer for a minecraft server myself, sometimes the smallest things can make a plugin vulnerable, like the cosmetic npc POSSIBLY (I'm not sure since I don't know how they coded it) not updating correctly, or misuse of an Inventory Event, or even the Bedrock crossing and I'm ASSUMING they added a bedrock move across line event to fix it. But you really don't notice that the smallest bugs unless a players finds it. I've had a bug which lasted for months before it was found and it was a simple fix. Again, I'm ASSUMING the parts about fixing the bugs in OG-Network, I'm just trying to kinda justify that I know how plugin development works. (aka the parts about possible fix's they did)

I was actually the one who found a bug that had to get patched. Sorry to say this, but one of these exploits is just because of "incompetence". Who the hell thinks like this: Oh, you need to break/place blocks in SkyWars? Well, let's give them special permissions TO BUILD LITERALLY ANYWHERE. Oh, there's obsidian? Not sure what people will use that for, let's not block nether portals. WorldGuard allows to configure a region. You can configure this specific region to allow building/placing blocks. No need to give players any permissions here. If you add something in a minigame or plugins, also think this: "How simply can I exploit it?" If you can't think of anything else, try the next day. If you still can't think of anything, it's good enough - For now The stall customization sounds like a not-completely-thought-through plugin, which is why this issue wasn't instantly spotted. Okay, enough hate, I apologize. It was a well-made video, I'll have a look at your other videos, maybe I like them :)

I ran a public pure vanilla server from April 2020 to June 2022 and my god, what a pain it was. While there were no extreme cases of exploits causing dupes there was crazy lag most of the time, unnecessarily huge farms that put the server to a standstill, plugins randomly breaking for weeks at a time with no solutions, support teams with the response time of a 1980s computer running Windows 11, toxic players who just would not understand what a ban meant, spawn being blown up weekly yet no one wanting to protect it because “pure vanilla”, a previously reliable admin who filled another admins base with nsfw npcs, a mod who turned out to be a homophobe, my manager quitting due to personal circumstances and my head admin having to leave for financial issues, endlessly long tickets between staff and players, a heated politics argument within the staff, and a constant war between staff who wanted to optimise the server to stop it falling apart against staff who wanted all their insanely technical farms to work. The server was like a cluster of boulders held together with a single thickness of spider web and the costs were ever growing thanks to increasingly laggy updates and the downfall of the £. We are now launching a purely modded server as I have had enough.

I remember when I was a kid in 2012, there was a server where I and my friends loved to play on. I found a couple of exploits and the best one I want to share here: There was also a shop plugin running with chests and a sign. Your username was automatically placed onto the sign. However the server was running one of the first admin shop plugins. The admins could make chests under the name "AdminShop" which were never empty. They used that at spawn for Shops. However, the server was cracked and the Admin shop name was actually without a space. I've figured if I could log on with this name I could maybe create admin shops by myself. So once no admin was one at 3 am, I tried logging on with this account. No one registered that account. I placed a sign over a chest with 64 diamond blocks for 1$ witthout putting Items into the chest. I then switched Accounts and walked to the hidden chest shop. I right clicked the sign and ... I got 64 Diamond Blocks for one dollar. This opened the door for a lot of stuff and you could also sell items like that. I had a shop where you could sell 1 Wood for 1 Billion Dollars and it worked. There were other exploits I found, for example disbanding factions, steal players inventory (even the admins inventory) and much more. If someone is interested I could tell you about that as well
