This song is called ON, but the MV is called Kinetic Manifesto because of the choreography. BTS members practice anywhere from 1 to 10 hours per day, but more for those to whom the dance doesn’t come easily. But, right now 5 of them are still enlisted in the South Korean military. When they are all released from their military duties, we can expect them to be back together and practicing their choreography and music once again.

BTS used Carl Jung's analytical psychology to write the lyrics and make the official MV. It talks about accepting our shadows, which are those repressed parts of us. We can only evolve when we truly accept these repressed parts of ourselves. That’s why the lyrics say “leave me with my everything”. Only when we accept everything that is part of us can we find peace. By the way, the drums announce the battle that will be faced, just as it was in the Middle Ages that soldiers were warned to prepare for battle with drums... Namjoon( RM )was only graduated highschool a few weeks before BTS debut. However he signed with Big Hit in 2010. So though Jimin only joined about 6 months before Debut. RM and Suga have been together 14 years. Big Hit tried out combinations till they got the best cocktail. Then trained them, because in European ages Jungkook was 13 turning 14 when he left home to join, and sang for auditions he had had no formal vocal training. So RM was an underground rapper posting on line as a high-schooler. Suga got himself an internship in a recording studio and he was rapping, writing and producing from an early age. Jin had started Konkuk University in the Acting Film drama department. V was at the Busan highschool on Performing Arts as a saxophonist, Jimin was at the same highschool as a top student in the modern dance department. ....NO ONE WAS A SINGER AT THAT POINT. Only 2 were dancers. From that unlikely seed grew BTS.

They do practice a lot of hours a day for their choreography and when they weren’t yet known or worldwide popular, they still practiced 14-16 hours a day even though BigHit was almost bankrupt. Their dedication has always been 110% no matter how much they made ir didn’t make. It has always been for their love of their art and for the love they feel for us, ARMY. Sienna Lalau who was only 19 years old at the time was the choreographer for BTS "ON" She was a huge fan of BTS and then became one of their dance coaches. She also did the Choreo for J-Hope when he performed for Lallapalooza. She even danced with him for some of the songs. Check J-Hope Live performance at Lallapalooza

BTS may well be the hardest working musical performers you will ever find. That said mythologies as to the extent of their practicing have become rampant. Early on prepping for shows and comebacks, the hours put in were unreal. But what also is unreal is the idea BTS spent endless hours practicing with no other activities. ARMYS know this as we all are familiar with the video documentation of their various activities, BTS being one of the most open artists with their numerous activities you will find. Why the myth continues is love not reality. There is enough in BTS that it is time to let go and showcase what is real.

As they were 'coming up' in the music world their schedules were insane (and unhealthy in my opinion). They got a half a day off per month. The rest of the time was spent in rehearsals, dance practices, interviews, photoshoots, writing/composing their music, producing, creating content (like their variety shows Run BTS, In the Soop and Bon Voyage), award shows/red carpets which required fittings, additional photo shoots because they became brand embassadors for high end fashion (Louis Vuitton for one) and the list goes on. By 2018 they were seriously burned out and exhausted and even contemplated disbanding because of it. But they went away together for a few days (no cameras or managers) and decided (in Jins words) screw the agency, screw the media - we do this for the 7 of us and for ARMY. They got better control over their time after that and more creative freedom. They continue to amaze me - 7 of the most humble, kindest, most generous people you will ever find.

They were used to long, long dance practices, usually before a comeback, a concert, a video.... since the very beginning when some of them still went to school... yes, 15-16 hours until exhaustion. True. There is plenty of videos within Bangtan Bombs...

In 2023 all member did solo songs or Album, 2 members got there solo songs at nr 1 at Billboard 100 Jimin Like Crazy and Jungkook Seven ft Latto, Jungkook also did Standing Next To You and a remix whid Usher on this song, Usher heard the song and wanted to do a remix whid Jungkook beacuse its a homage to Michael Jacksson. Because they have 11 years worth of dance practices you can react to next. 9:32 It is more around 6-13 hours not 16, theres only 12hrs in day but on occasion some of them do tend to stay after hours to perfect the choreography (aka dance line, JHOPE, Jimin, JK and V) but you’re somewhat right in a way because it does take them at least 2-3 months to fully complete each dance they do for each song & live performance.
