anyone who has any suggestions who can relate to my situation? i just came across your channel and am grateful I found you. I have a weird question. -I just hear music inside me and have fun humming and creating melodies in my head/heart/feelings. -I love singing melodies/direction and then creating harmonies with it. -I can hear in my head backgrounds with various instruments and harmonies playing around. And over the years humming to myself i came up with a few song ideas, melodies and harmonies etc. -And my biggest desire and unknown is what equipment or software do I need to purchase in order to transfer my heart music from my head onto audible recording and also onto music sheet that an orchestra or a band can take it and actually perform it? -My problem is I don’t read music. I never went to music school. I just hear music in my heart and I wonder if there is such equipment that I could simply play melody on piano, save it somehow digitally so that I can listen to that recorded piano and start playing harmonies to that melody and then record it as well, and then listen to that recording of melody and harmonies and add more background flavors with various instruments that I hum out loud hearing it in my head… i cannot play full on piano professionally but I am able to play one part at a time… melody, than when it’s in digital form playing back to me I could add harmonies … and playing those back to me I could focus on adding more background with orchestra instruments etc. -I guess my question is if there is a way to move full on orchestra music i hear inside my head onto digital music notes and recordings without being able to read music … just playing melodies from my head on piano by ear.

In this example, how comes there are six quarter notes in the first bar without triplet signs ? Can you chose the amount of bars per system without having to insert bars manually ?

Good questions, In this case, the presenter put the quarter notes too close together and a auto fill line was unable to be put in. If he spaced his quarter notes out just a bit further it would have generated. While our Developers are great at programing, sometimes our presentation could use a little bit of polish. I believe if you have your keyboard linked to your computer and connected to the digital keyboard. It should in fact record. It more depends on the connection from keyboard to computer and how they are being interfaced.

No, if you look at the top of the menu lists, you can see Score, Drums, and strings. You are able to write in multiple instrument types. Piano is just he basic score writing tool.

I believe you can change the notation to add swing by going to Notation - Relationship - and adjusting the notation there. I will forward this question on to our Crescendo team and see if i can find a better answer.
