Stunning work/design Shaun! I've been obsessed with slatted design recently. Sometimes the required 'mathing' can creep up on ya in a design, but builds are always so much more fun when you can wing some arbitrary dimensions/angles. I've also recently started employing the cutting out MDF templates on the X-Carve, and flush trimming on my piece and it is such a game changer (doing this on my current build). Thanks for bringing that skill to our attention 😊

So unique, i think i went from Liking it to disliking it and back about 3 times! The phone at the end is what tied it altogether, i.e. giving that raised section a purpose. Definitely think you need to iterate on this design to see where the ideas go.

Hey boys (Chris and Shaun), as this one is about abstract, and I had a bit of an abstraction on a fold away table idea come into my head today, it seems like this is the right place to post up a very random question. HOW would one go about calculating the rolled up circumference of a "roll up" table top? Similar in concept of mixing the old roll up part of a secretary desk but into a compact circle like you might get on a roll up garage door that is space saving and not linear. I don't know if I have explained it well... All that said, my brain struggles with math at the best of times and the idea of trying to calculate this has made me have to go have gin and a lie down. Any help, direction, links or even throwing up your hands and saying "Dunno, good luck." is appreciated. Love all you do. Keep it up.
