At that price its a steal but I literally stole this from a grey market dealer in Japan haha. Grabbed it for 1750 pound last year when the yen was weak! It was brand enw box and papers too! Unbelievable value and its become my most worn.

These go for about $2500 grey market. I own the silver version and pics dont do it justice. Its a fantastic GADA watch.

Omega in general is a bit under appreciated compared to their rival crown, mainly because of marketing and endorsements. Build quality wise Omega is good especially for the cost/SRP. Many brands are overpriced already. Hope Omega catches up or gets more celebrities to wear them haha

It’s the only Omega in my collection at the present moment and that’s fine for me. Because it’s so underappreciated, it’s fairly easy to find one for around 50% off retail, especially if you shop around the Japanese market. I found mine for $2400 USD. And while you shouldn’t sleep on the silver or black dials, either, the blue is the truly unique piece!

My only gripe with this one, is that the dial looks like denim to me.

That's the point, the train operators use denim in their uniforms. The second hand is a rail light, the color of the second hand is rust like the rails themselves. The second ring is actual train tracks.

The IWC Ingenieur, Rolex Milgaus, and Omega Railmaster all used a soft iron case back in the day for the same reason. This watch doesn't have that particular feature anymore. It doesn't need it as the movement is basically amegnetic

@keithchegwin1222 yes I do. I bougth it for my sons 18 years birthday, he loves it. I wear different watches at work, and showed them the railmaster . Lately I worn a Vacheron Constantin, some of them said that's nice but I liked the one with the blue dail more 😀
