I really liked WWII a lot. Was definitely rough early on but to this day, I probably enjoyed the variety that game brought more than any other game. The larger War mode, Prop Hunt, the campaign. I enjoyed the simplicity of the weapons and sound effects. The fire shotty screams! And I enjoyed the daily challenge system. I think that was probably the first CoD that I actually stuck with for the entire year-long life cycle.

I bought COD WW2 to teach my wife how to play FPS games. We would load into a private multiplayer game with bots, and that's how she learned the basics of moving her character and shooting. She also learned other helpful things, like how to read a mini-map while staying engaged in a fight. It helped her a lot when she started to join my Warzone games. She worked her way up to Warzone through the Resurgence game mode, first on the original Fortunes Keep, and then later with Warzone 3. Gulag is still tough for her, but COD still offers a lot in the way of learning for beginner players.

Ghosts and WW2 were underrated. Ghosts was the first cod with Bots which revolutionized split screen. WW2 introduced prop hunt which was so much fun, you had to be there.

I replay the campaign for this amazing game every year. It's so good. I hate that it got looked over so hard. I had a blast in the multiplayer and the lobby free-roam thing was fun and new. EDIT: Also, I REALLY love your videos like this as well. I've always been a big fan of your commentary and takes, so these are super interesting to me haha.

I loved WW2. I think a lot of it is the aforementioned aspect of "it got left in the dust since the launch wasn't as good as the hype," much like Vanguard. After both games ironed out the bugs, they were TOTALLY playable and enjoyable. I haven't played WW2 in years but I will say this, Sandbox is possibly the greatest map in COD history and I hope it returns at some point.

I loved WWII. I stopped playing at BO2 bc college and a great intro back into the franchise was with WWII. BOTG and QSing was back. I had fun. Unlike now with EOM/SBMM.

Infinite is/was underrated af - plus it was awesome in comp cod. In the end there is no such thing like as "a bad" cod - if you dropping kills, every cod is at least a 7/10 imho. Even MW II was "ok" on its own and when not compared to a gold standard. A lot of people played it - cuz it's cod. And i'd say if one got a decent round you'd think "that was quite fun actually". But if it hits you with the sbmm and stuff u start to notice the negatives A LOT more. There are good and less good cods. We all play them - more or less - some of us for over a decade. We hate, we play, we rinse, we repeat.

This is my favorite CoD of all time. The first one I played on console, bc I just got a PS4, so I owe that game a lot. It was also my main game for streaming for like over a year or so. Never wanted to play the MP, didn'T know how Prestige worked and ofc... movement, shooting and aiming. Started with the campaign and then just for the fun of it, gave MP a try. In the end, it's the only game I went to MP rank 1000, got basically all the stuff ingame- and play it occasionally to this very day. I also got 3 nukes on the game I have like 1000 crates ready to be opened, additionally one of every special bribe crate, just for the collection. The overhaul was the best thing that happened to the game, the start was very rough tho, to be honest. Game in its state now is fantastic. The only real downside rn is the Requisitions basic training that even other MP1000s use.. it's just ruining my mood and often times, I can't stay in that game for too long. -.-

Nostalgia is real. I know people only look and remember the good, but WW2 was actually a mess and barebones. When it dropped, you couldn't do that and expect players to keep plying or bringing in new players. It took them too long for the overhaul. players moved on. I don't think this game is underrated at all. people just don't want to remember the launch and how long it took them to fix it.

YES - UNQUESTIONABLY WW2. Absolutely amazing game let down by maps which did not TDM well, but myself as a PURE objective player WW2 was something special, in more ways than people can even remember, it also had a terrible start but the devs were amazing at listening and working on it, SHG are amazing. I also happen to enjoy the WW2 theme so that worked well for me also. The game even down to the sound design was superb, the unlock system, SANDBOX!! What a forgotten classic. I am so pleased you are showing this game some LONG OVERDUE love.

Vanguard is the MOST underrated CoD of all time, in wz we had the best movement, no visual recoil (on mnk it was a dream that I could kill someone at 200m with an AR, mnk only had that advantage and I loved it), multiplayer was solid (I kinda liked breakable walls, it was something new finally)

the thing I liked with COD WW2 was the weapon customization where you customize your weapon with naming your weapon I added that to all my weapons from Texas Pride to Ghostbusters to Tom Cruise the weapon customization was in my opinion the best

Still one of my favourite CoD’s, it changed things without ruining the identity and soul of the game. The music, weapons, maps, divisions all of it was done with passion. WWII & MW2019 were the last good CoDs. Everything after has been a cash grab, rushed, soulless mess.

WW2 is a great call of duty game in my opinion. I loved the headquarters idea.. reminded me of the tower in destiny. Also fun, different and also classic game modes for multiplayer. Prop hunt was a laugh 😆. Also you called Battlefield 1 bad.. im going to let that one slip this time Mr Jgod. 😅

I LOVED WWII and never understood the hate. Gamers are so damn fickle, man. And games take YEARS to develop. I don't understand how some players don't seem to understand that. You can't change your mind about what you want for the next COD installment a year or less out and expect the devs to just completely change course and deliver a completely different game.

I know Im in the minority, but I was a huge fan of WWII from the get go even though it did get much better later on. Always felt it was super underrated. The customization/cosmetics system was goated. A lot of people I knew didnt even give it a chance over its lifespan after leaving COD altogether after IW. That game was the worst.
