Why do you think he goes under the radar so much in other countries?

@@99colo it's hard to say exactly why, but I get the feeling that, because of the amount of talent Italy was producing at the time (Del Piero, Totti etc.), he kind of wasn't appreciated as much as he should have been. In Italy it was realised once the talent pool dried up a bit...and now Italians look back and realise what a diamond he was...we are always looking for the next, new, shiny thing, when sometimes we should appreciate what you have in your hands right now...Baggio was also not utilised as well as he could have been by the pragmatic Italian coaches of the time, so he was more limited by the era, than his ability, which was exceptionally high. Had he been used correctly, I think the rest of the world would have never forgotten his name.

As a vicentino I'm so proud of him, and he still lives here in Vicenza with his family in the hills. He never looks for attentions, has no socials, but work hard in his fields and drive a Fiat panda. What a man
