I always got 1% vibes from Monica from generational wealth based and the one episode that her family dynamic was briefly shown. Her mother seemed off the hook. Her singing "It's my turn" lmao. It was refreshing to see an "old money" optic of unambiguous DSBW. If Toni evolved into new level, I felt like Monica would be well established in that level.

Loved Monica, though Toni was an integral part of the show and it wasn’t the same when she left, despite her and Monica’s similarities. Also, I don’t think Toni hated Monica, like stated towards the end of the video, i believe there was a mutual respect for one another. Especially after that statement “You might wanna get your resume together,” from Monica to Joan. Toni’s response cracks me up every time.

I love Keesha Sharp and I actually really like Monica and I hated how they treated her long after their initial reservations. Till this day, Lynn’s hatred for Monica is a mystery to me. Like the Ik the initial reason was just bc Joan didn’t like her and they all agreed with her but…Lynn still hated her long after Joan started becoming friends with her. I honestly wished we could’ve seen her and Toni get along bc they were so alike and I could see a great relationship between them sorta like a Cher and Dionne or Monet and Luna from Gossip Girl 2021. Also, everytime I look at her, I see Halle Bailey in the face
