It’s a shame you’ve not grinded the Hipper line because the Roon is absolutely lethal. I’m talking 20k+ salvos on BB broadsides. Dev striking cruisers from full health. Insane survivability. Really fun ship.

My primary strat is to use the torps defensively 80% of the time. Rush into an advantageous position (usually into my lane cap) and bombard/maneuver until we have an advantage. If someone is ignorant/ foolish enough to charge the ship they usually have to pay for it. Otherwise the deterant is enough to dominate whatever position ive lodged myself in. Never use all your torps unless you have to or set up a drive by. The guns are more than adequate for most engagements. Theyre not pushovers. Never fear a hipper but you should respect it.

I build mine as an agile cruiser and use it to cap..one dug in its hard to get out of a cap...guns hit hard as well.

I admit I have weird taste but I have always liked Hipper and Eugan mostly because I think they are some of the best looking ships ever to set sail since their actual performance is pretty lackluster. I am excited for Hindenburg though it keeps the general appearance of the Hippers but it actually has the bite to back it up with 12 guns.

Look at this....Mr. "I don't like the Hipper" is in the Hipper...and Spartan don't lie, you do tend to play the same ships... Your take on the Hipper isn't accurate but like I said, not everyone can play the Hipper. On a side note...I pulled out the Elbing out of a Level 2 crate today. 😜.

Hipper was my 2nd t7. First being z23. These german ships are faves and i havent been able to play them since i started my "get all trees to t5" project. Its been a while but i definitely have a reason to play it again. It was at max before they added t8. I can put the italians on hold for a bit.

Hipper is pretty much better than Eugen. Hipper has shorter torps, but better dpm. By quite a bit. And if you want to run the reload booster, you give up sonar on Eugen (which is a huge downside, German sonar is one of their few great strengths). If they let you use sonar and reload booster on Eugen though, I’d def agree

What if you keep spinning the wheel , and make videos of all ships of a tier and talk about how you see them, about their weakness and strong sides, what they are good for etc.That would be really interesting and entertaining. You may say that you ve got video of this or that ship not long ago. It does not matter, because usually you play the ship few times until you get something that you can show us. This time it is just one attempt, no replay, as is, and this is very nice to watch endeed. There are hundreds of ships, but we are not in a hurry. I am not in a hurry, do you? 😉
