Suggestion: Upside-down battle arena. Now that the camera works upside-down, you should do an upside-down battle arena where your 4 thrusters are attached with cardboard or destructible.

hey scrapman you know theres a directional distruction thing in the settings of the block when you interact with it and directional distruction means the parts that got hit will be destroyed not just random parts, i saw that option when you showed it for the first time

This mod gives me an interesting idea. You guys haven't done a race in a while and i feel like it would be a lot of fun if you guys pre-built cars before getting together for a race, then at the beginning of the video, you all ram your vehicles into walls until they can't be driven anymore. Then all you have are a bunch of car parts allover the floor and the challenge will be that you all have to rebuild a race car out of the parts that lay on the floor and it doesn't matter if the parts you end up using are parts from another car, you have to use what's there to build a car that you can use to race. It's gonna be a mishmash of parts and the vehicles are gonna look ridiculous but that's what's gonna make it fun. Once the vehicles are rebuilt, you deactivate the mod for the race, or you keep it on, it's up to you. If some parts disappear, like the seats or engines or things like that then i guess you guys can add an engine or a seat to your vehicle but the body has to be made out of the broken off parts from the crashes.

Idea for the next Multi-player Monday is you guys control mechs that can only do hand to hand combat with the destruction mod activated. The mech that can't move or fight will be eliminated.

Moobo's car just crumble like a biscuit on the slightest of impact. Scrapman's shell built like a brike but everything else just dislocated itself by the momentum. Kan's is just....well... Kan

you know what would be great, now that this is possible? Demolition derby evolution challenge! Like the other evo challenges, where the winning vehicle from each round gets modified with progressively more and more pieces and power.

Idea: A set of 3 races on the same track where after each race drivers and vehicles are swapped in a circle. Like regular the drivers are scored based on their placement but in each round (other than the round players use their own vehicle) the vehicles score additional points to their creator based on how BAD their finishing placement was. The maximum score would be yielded by a vehicle that finishes first in the hands of its creator but last to anybody else, encouraging players to build vehicles that are unintuitive and dificult to handle while still being consistant enough to be mastered by themselves.

here is an interesting twist on the old evolution thing, depending if you can get an extra person: competing evolution. basically you have 2 teams. you could go either both fight and the last one standing on each team is the one that team uses to evolve or go predator and prey where one team is trying to escape for as long as possible and the other team is trying to catch one as fast as possible, with the evolution being the predator that catches the prey and the prey that got away

Another idea for Multiplayer Monday: * 2 teams of 2 players * Each of you build a car * Team members weld their cars together so that they're attached by their roofs. Yes, that means only one car can drive, the other is upside down, welded to the roof. * Cross-link your controls, so that you control engine of the car you're sitting in, but steering of the car welded to yours. * That means the steering driver will be steering upside down * Even if you flip the weldhicle, you can continue, just the engine/steering roles will switch between you. * Race. I have to give credit to Top Gear UK who did this to their German colleagues in Season 11, Episode 6.

That was an enjoyably chaotic MM! But ... uh ... it was also a very good highlight of how this mod is both brilliant and simultaneously horribly flawed to the point of being unusable. If the destruction isn't logical, what's the point? A for effort to the mod author. It's a real shame the destruction can't be smarter. That kind of defeats the purpose. Hopefully Scrap Mechanic can provide a means for the mod author to fix the mod in the future.

idea: workshop battle. the rules would be obvious, stay within a certain size, no two players may have the build, anything that crashes the game is an automatic disqualification, no mods unless all players have it, and so on and so on Edit there would also have to be a destruction mod of some sort so the battle would end of course

From the beginning I’m seeing weaknesses from my understanding of the mod. The destroyed blocks are random so anything with only one block width/thickness is a weakness particularly wheels attachment point.

My plan for this challenge was totally different. Since demo destroys from the outside, I'd make the smallest car possible, with frictionless blocks for stability, then make a giant brick, to allow as much outside damage before a wheels, engine, bearings, and seat get destroyed

Multi player Monday idea: You have a limited number of parts like in challenge mode and all of you have to build a vehicle that's capable of traversing a challenge in the sandbox mode. You can use the destruction mod to make it more difficult if you want. 😁

Suggestion: Zero gravity demolition derby. Make something that flies and than ram into your opponents and watch how they disintegrate into the thin air. I think it would be fun for you and for the community too.

Saw a suggestion for making a castle fort with destruction in a subcomment. I definitely would love to see that with everyone just laying into it with medieval artillery maybe will get some cool moments of towers falling in through the lower roof. Though would the artillery work, well even a spudminigun assault would be cool as well. As long as there's a lot of towers and sections for it to fall in to. Maybe some community castles.

Suggestion: Laps around the figure 8. Each lap equals 1 point. Destruction encouraged. Last one able to complete a lap gets 2 points.

mutliplayer monday Idea: everyone makes 3 peices of whatever. IE if you do a car, you make a body, a bottom, and a top. once everyone is done. Each person choses a top (can choose their own) then it rotates, whoever went first goes last, second now first, last now second. and they choose like the body, then one last time with the wheels. Combine the peices using very little peices (ie use peices as needed to keep it stable) and use the vehicles in a race.

Here's an idea for a multiplayer Monday, have a maze runner and a minotaur(hunter) where the maze is either created by others or by one of you all, the hunter knows the maze and has to tag the maze runner, if tagged must restart or lose a life depending on size of maze, who ever has fasted time/more life's win

Here is an idea... "Tank battle" the idea is you build functional tanks out of blocks that a spud gun can brake with a movable and functional turret on top whoever is left still functional wins... potentially add environmental hazerds like explosives or cover

I was wondering when scrapman was going to start including the destruction mod into multiplayer mondays Also now that you guys are using the desctruction mod in multiplayer mondays I have an idea for one. Two people drive around in pre set cars, and the 3rd person has to use the car they built. Everyone would have to build a car for their round as chaser. The cars that you guys build would have one of the creation destruction disabler blocks and could also have weapons. One person uses the chaser car and has to destroy the other two pre set cars.
