multiplayer monday idea: create a car that can drive over a patch of the bacteria (or have someone place a block of it on you) and see how far you can get! Add obstacles to steer around, add jumps for that last second effort, this could be really cool. there could be different strategies for making redundant wheels, redundant connections, is having one block connecting your seat to the rest of the creation a good idea or a bad one? choosing which path to take is a whole nother deal also. I think this could really be an interesting and complex challenge! :D

Hey scrapman I was wondering if these blocks can be placed in chests because if you can, you can just reverse vacuum block it from the chest and have a sensor to then detect another creation to place it on another creation (an idea for the infection multiplayer monday)

Remember the Multiplayer Monday challenge where vacuum pumps were used to weigh down boats with vacuum pump cannons filled with concrete? Could do something similar with the bacteria blocks. But on another note, this mod has huge potential for challenge mode! Imagine having to navigate levels without getting infected! Or quickly escape areas that are actively disintegrating and exploding! There could be challenges (like the CyberPunk themed one that was featured a while back) where you’re escaping from some corrupt authority, armed with EMP cannons that will disable your vehicle if your not careful or skilled enough. Instead of just using mobs and spuds as baddies in challenges, there’s a whole new variety of danger to add into levels! I wanna buy scrap mechanic so bad now lol!

Since there are objects immune to the bacteria effects, I think you could have a game of tag Something like you have an amount of blocks isolated from the rest of the creation and your objective is to infect the other players creations before those blocks are gone. You would need a small arena or a lot of blocks to carry the bacteria if you wanna have rounds longer than a couple seconds tho

I just had an idea to mod this mod for multiplayer Mondays. Make these blocks shootable with mounted spudguns and make a two-person race with them. One on the turrent and one driving and trying to avoid the other car's turrent! That would be an amazing/hilarious race! Maybe make cars with logic-controlled controls and have the spud gun shoot the EMP blocks? That would be wonderful.

a really fun multiplayer monday idea would be to make some sort of bacteria launcher out of blocks that aren’t broken by the bacteria, and tot try and take down your opponents. the catch would be that you aren’t out until your vehicle can’t drive anymore, so you could win even if your vehicle is on the brink of breaking

Idea for a race: Giant platform, bacteria will slowly eat it while you and the other guys have to escape to the other end of the platform in vehicles build earlier in the video. The twist is that you have to make a vehicle that uses no wheels or thrusters to out run the bacteria.

I think a multiplayer monday where you all build machines that have to try to race while being eaten would be interesting. The challenge being to build something fool proof enough to finish that lap of the course before too many vital systems get destroyed. For consistency sake each creation would probably be required to be required to have a 'flag pole' a certain height, allowing dispensers to plant bacteria at the beginning of each lap. The other fun one I can think of, though it might be kind of laggy, is playing the floor is lava. Just plant a couple of red and green bacterial blocks onto several sections of terrain and try knock each other off of it using drift vehicles. I'm thinking of that old crash party game where you're all on the ice burg and have to knock each other off without falling off yourselves for this one. Main difference the arena is naturally shrinking (and exploding) as the round goes on.

Here's an idea for a multiplayer challenge: If it's hard to carry bacteria somewhere, then why not make that the challenge? Whoever carries their bacteria the furthest (before it fizzles out or the creation becomes undriveable) wins. Obviously you'd have a number of parts limit on the craft (and you can't use any parts that are too large to be infected except for 4 wheels, 1 seat, 1 engine). Distance would be measured by the players having to infect certain target objects after each lap (a brick, a wedge, pineapple on pizza, broccoli, ...) - which adds an additional building constraint, because you'll want the bacteria in the front of your creation. (To lower the risk of bacteria spreading between those target objects, you can spawn them in from your lift right before you try to infect them.)

If the blue one could spread faster, or have some activating catalyst, you could use it to create EMPs!!! Make a missile with both the bacteria and the catalyst and have them connect on impact or on a timer. I don’t even have the game yet but I’ve been watching your videos for a while and I like to think of creations lol. You make great content and honestly brighten my day. 12:00 Could be possible if you're doing a Castle Siege, with catapults/trebuchets. One single block placed on a boulder would allow the boulder to fly long enough to land. Only problem is you'd have to fix your treb/catapult every time. Buuut if you use parts bigger than a 1x1, since bacteria cant infect larger blocks, you shouldnt lose any. Would be a neat idea.

Thought of this almost instantly: Cheese Touch One person drives around in a vehicle avoiding two or three others with a bacteria block place on their vehicle on a spot of their choosing. All chasing parties get to create an individual vehicle they believe will work best at surviving while trying to "infect" the runner(s). The runner will win if they are not infected or survive infection, and the infected will win if the runner's vehicle perishes. To make it more interesting, the two infected could use alternate bacteria so that they have incentive to work together to infect the runner. Further idea: The runner could be allowed to create a vehicle that "let's go of" or amputates certain infected parts.

You realize the next stage of this is to make a projectile weapon with this stuff. A cannon, a trebuchet/catapult, whatever... Whether it fires once before it eats itself, or whether the ordnance has a tiny pellet placed at its core or on top or whatever and very QUICKLY launched.... castle wars? Two big castles, and the only weaponry you're allowed to use is _launched_ bacteria from the other castles? The stakes are SERIOUSLY high if you do not handle your own ordnance very VERY carefully. The loser is the one who gets reduced to less than 10% of their castle first. Possible rule: You're allowed to 'put out' enemy bacteria by destroying it yourself, if you're fast enough but that does come at the cost of damaging your _own_ castle.

2 ideas. Bacteria escape rooms where you use the bacteria to escape, and bacteria racing where all players have a bacteria attached to the front of their vehicle and you have to get the farthest to win rather than crossing a finish line.

It's a shame that there's no counter-agent to these infections. If you can shoot the infections out of vacuum cannons, that might have some Multiplayer Monday challenge fun. It'd be REALLY neat if survival mode could have bots that shoot these at you. (As if tape bots aren't deadly enough.) But ... again ... without some kind of foil to stop the infection, it'd just be a base destroyer unless you were REALLY on top of deconstructing infected parts of a base. Basically, it'd suck without something like a anti-bac gun. (Or fire extinguisher.) Though ... water ... while making no sense, would be an easy enough game mechanic to implement? Maybe? It's an interesting mod at least. Hopefully we see more from it.

Infection multiplayer would actually be awesome with this mod, imagine running away after getting tagged and having to amputate a leg and get back on before you get tagged again. Each creation could have multiple sets of wheels Incase one needs to be sacrificed, and you'd constantly be choosing between running and trying to poke someone with your blocks. You could also have parts that purposefully detach to create a minefield that'll hit people if they chase after you. Too bad they don't have plague spawners or blocks that are immune to hold them

The red and green bacteria could work for a slow race like rock/wall crawler on block made course or a huge arena. Emp would be good in a battle royal. Fire maybe could be a fire fighter challenge or escape room. If the mod could be changed to let you change rate of infection and how long after a block gets infected it disappears you could do some cooler stuff, if say red doesn't disappear you could have a course turning green and vehicles turning red then if any part of a vehicle not wheels, engine, or thruster touches the course yo get explosion. I might also suggest two other ideas for the mod creator. bacteria that float or at least change the weight of blocks sporadically and bacteria that act like magnets and either pull metal to them or once they touch metal or other magnets they fuse them so you can get stuck on things and have to amputate. If you could automate the spawn of fire you might be able to create something that fires them randomly and everybody uses wood creations or has wood castles to protect.

12:20 your answer to keep the block is to put it in containment (after you put it on the pedestal) your pedestal is a thruster. Put your one block of bacteria on the corner of a thruster block and put a pipe connected to the wall that way it don't fall over. if you do a video on this I'll tell you if you did it right.

For your multiplayer idea, you could try using a cardboard dispenser to keep the bacteria fed. And by the looks of it you could isolate it with some of the pieces that it doesn't spread to.

Multiplayer Monday idea: Have two teams, one or two people on a flying creation, and have one of the crew members try and place electric bacteria on another's ship to try and make them fall from the sky! The teams whose creation touches the ground first or goes below an altitude limit loses!

Multiplayer Monday challenge with a vehicular fight/race using bacteria sabo? Or an mm challenge to build a vehicle to survive infections for the longest period. Hover air craft battle with infections. Rounds based on which infection active and longst in air wins, players choose infection start point for your own craft or maybe opponents.

In terms of uses, they seem like good randomizers. For example, put a red and green at opposite ends of a long beam so that when they meet, the explosion destroys a soundmaker of some sort, and then use it to play musical ~~chairs~~ toilets.

Multiplayer Monday. Tag, where 1 person is infected. Or have vacuum pump shoot the infected blocks. You can allow people to get out and try to cut off blocks around the infection to save themselves, but you could do a last man standing that way. Everyone gets 2 guns. Pick your 2 colors of Infection in the pumps. Or make them rotate shots. A lot of potentia

Bacteria multiplayer idea: Everyone has 3 towers of blocks. In the middle of an arena there is a ginormous infected tower. You have to build creations that get infected at the middle tower and then carry that infection on your rotting creation to the towers of the contestants.

Hm, the main game I could think of playing with something like this is a Spleef sort of thing if you have ever played that, where the floor is constantly falling out from under you and you need to stay on the move to avoid elimination. Something like that where bacteria is placed at various points across a large area and you make vehicles designed to outrun or survive the bacteria as long as possible. EDIT: Not only that but it would be cool to see it spread to the players' vehicles if you get too close.

You could do a 1v1 with the red & green bacteria with the MM-crew where each player places their bacteria somewhere in their area & tries to beat out the other player by having their bacteria survive. Also it seemed like the electric bacteria is capable of remotely infecting logic-gates, thus the strange behaviour of the flyer even though the first bacteria was on top.
