since we are getting closer to finally getting the 1.4.5 terraria update, I thought it would be a great time to give you guys an updated video going over all of the known glitches in Terraria at the moment, which includes things like being able to duplicate any item, go into god mode, control what can spawn in your world, spawn in any item, and other extremely useful glitches.

Also another REALLY GOOD use for the hoik glitch is that you can straight up go inside of the Golem arena on the Jungle Temple, without needing to go through the whole corridor. All you need to do is what he did in the video, place a platform, a block, you hammer the platform, then the block AND you hammer the temple blocks one by one till you get inside of the Golem Arena (yes, this glitch makes your character go through solid blocks).

There's a better way to Hoik, though. You hammer a solid tile until it becomes an upside down ramp. The direction of the top acute corner is where you will teleport. Then block swap the solid into a platform. It works on monsters and NPCs, allowing you to cheese OOA.

@@nathanpalala7729 Don't do the glitch THAT way! I found a way that doesn't corrupt your saved data: Place items in chest, then save the game in whatever way. After that, remove the items and put them in a Piggy Bank or your inventory (Piggy Bank duplication can even work on Etherian Mana) and then, you just find a way to die. As soon as you die, close the app. You aren't saving world data when you close the app and will not get corrupted.

an easier way to get into the JUNGLE TEMPLE is another version of the hoik that works only on doors basically what you have to do is put 3 platforms in front of the door, then hammer them to make them become a stair TOWARDS the door, hold down while going in and BOOM! you're in! edit: changed Golem arena to jungle temple bc the door never spawns on the arena, and also I'm dumb

placing 2 of the same pylons is cool glitch and also there are some things like getting to the dungeon and jungle temple early and infinite i-frames machine, though they are not actually bugs, but tricks, based on several in-game mechanics

Here’s a trick I discovered accidentally, I’ll try my best to make this short. (I use mobile btw, I don’t know if it works anywhere else) When fishing during the blood moon put a one block tall platform three blocks above you’re fishing area, make sure it covers you’re entire area so no enemies from above it can reach you. At this height if you were to use water walking there’d only just be enough room for you to fit. You can’t be touching the water AT ALL because the game doesn’t let you fish while in water. When fishing grapple yourself above your fishing area to the underside of that platform, it’ll almost look like you’re standing on the water. The grappling hook forces you to stay facing one direction. Aim your fishing bobber the opposite direction you’re facing behind the character. If you did this right any hemoglobin sharks & zombie mermen will clip through the platform & be unable to reach you. You can kill them with lava & sentries. :)

I remember back in 1.3, i would always play terraria with my cousins and we found out this glitch where if two people open the same chest and frame perfectly they both take the item at the same time, the item would duplicate! We used this glitch to make many terra blades and duke fishron wings. Sadly, it was patched :(((((

there is also another infinite money glitch that only works with the alchemist npc mod but you dont need to reach hardmode to do it you jsut need to obtain the alchemist charm tier 2 and have the alchemist npc once you have all that get 1 platinum 12 gold 50silv and buy greater luck potion and by selling that one great luck potion you get 1plat 87gold 50silv and then rebuying one will allow you to have a total of 2 plat 62gold 50silv and then using all that to buy more greater luck potion then reselling again will allow you to gain more platinum as you do it longer you will be able to get 9999 platinum and using it all again to buy more of those potion you can get more than 1 stack of platinum.

For item dupe you can just copy and paste your character on the files so you gonna have 2 same characters and u can just put their items in a chest in ur world and boom u have all items dupped

Things that need to be in 1.4.5 Recipe book. That also pulls craftable recipes from all your workbenches within your screen and chest inventory. Item search, and info oon that item. Recipe upgrade tree.

A safer way to do the item dupe glitch is to put the items in the chest, save and exit, rejoin, turn off autosave, die, and then use alt f4 and it is completely safe and valid and useful.

Theres a way to dupe items that doesn’t corrupt worlds/characters (as far as i know) 1. Place a chest and put the items you want to dupe in it, and turn off auto save. 2. Save and Exit. 3. Join the world and take the items out. 4. Die. 5. Alt f4 during the respawn timer. 6. The items should be in your inventory and in the chest.

For the item dupe glitch, you can do it much faster in a easier way. 1. place a chest with the desire items you wanna dupe. 2. save and exit. 3. open a multiplayer server. 4. place the items in the chest but don't close it. 5. ALT+F4. This way, the server keep the items in the chest while the game keep the items in character inventory. Edit. I did it a lot of times and no corrupts map or character. But you never know.

Yeah if you the easy way and don't -QUIT DURING A SAVE WHAT ARE YOU THINKING- exit during a save there's no risk of corruption(also you can close the chest, you don't need to not close it), worst case scenario in the few moments before the server shuts down and saves after you leave, a slime rain happens(that's it, that's the worst case scenario.) But for console players, force quitting during a save is the only option(maybe?). But, no risk about this being public, its un-patchable. That's just the risk you take when multiple separate communicating things saving and rolling back independently. This just happens because the player client force quits and doesn't save. In singleplayer that's it, it just doesn't save. In multiplayer, the world is hosted on the server(in pc, mobile players just are the server), so when the server realizes the host is gone, it will save and quit, but the host that left didn't save due to force quitting. So now the world is saved and the player isn't. So if the player starts with an item, and then gives it to the world, then doesn't save, the player gets the item back, and the world still has it. Item duplicated. Also rolling back your world can be useful for other reasons, like if you want honey sponge and bottomless honey bucket, but the angler wont ask you for bumblebee tuna, you could save and quit before a new day and then after a new day happens, if the angler doesn't have the bumblebee tuna, force quit to not save until you get it, then fish up 2 bumblebee tuna and use two characters and force quit until you get both items. What I do, is take the items. Put them in a chest, then exit and save. I then go back to the world and take the items out, then I die in any way possible, and close the app as soon as I die. It works just as well, and never corrupted my safe file.
