The World Islands were not designed as one for each country. That would have been utterly stupid. If you'd only seen for yourself. The USA has about ten islands and Australia too. Careful what you say. The fact is, they're sinking.

To say the Big Dig is useless is absolutely foolish. It has allowed Boston to thrive and have blossom into one of the most livable cities in the world. Was it expensive, over budget, leaky, etc? Yes but all the problems have been fixed and newer generations of Bostonians are thriving. You generalization of the Big Dig makes your whole list dubious.

Don't mean to be too detailed, but on number #7, I noticed the narrator said the same exact thing it said about that city as it did in the other video you guys have about Abandoned cities that you posted about a few hours ago. 🤣 No biggie work smarter, not harder 😭

I agree that a lot of these projects seem to be a total waste of money. But on the other hand the countries that built them are creating "make work" projects that pump a lot of money into their countries' economies. And the "cities" that result are places for future populace explosions.... i e China and India. As far as the "Big Dig" goes, I wasn't aware of the problems that occurred. But hell it's Boston with a lot of stakeholders involved and money to be made on this project. I used to have to travel to Boston on business. When it was time to get to the airport you had to factor in the horrible delays you would encounter trying to get there. It was hell. And that is why the tunnel was dug, to alleviate these delays. And BTW Boston is a place where you do not want be in the winter. Just my opinions.

Your info on Yucca mountain is completely wrong… other than the travel worries. It’s seismically inactive, was designed to be of significant size and was the US’ best chance for sustainable nuclear power.

In India we have a white elephants called the " Statue of Unity"....The largest cricket stadium in Motera, Gujarat,....then the Vistas also the new Parliament building complex...when millions died in India during the second wave of Covid19 due to the lack of hospitals, oxygen cylinders and medical care ..…which was built and cost about 250 million dollars.....built to attract tourists....this project was due to narcissistic and megalomania from a undeclared dictator who is basically illiterate, delusional and dramatic....he is popularly called 'Feku' which means 'Fake guy'.... infact more than 30% of Indians are below the poverty line.....after the unplanned lockdowns and highhandedness of the ruling establishment the no of people who are pushed into poverty in India has risen to 45%.......India is the only country in Asia where the gap between the rich and the poor are highest in the world....😎🤔🐒

The Chinese ghost cities. It reminds me of a load of worker ants working 7 days a week around the clock to build a lot of stuff where nobody goes because they have no industry there. There are so many people, it seems like it's an exercise in keeping people in a job. They are like a production line in all aspects of industry, but at some point it becomes saturated, and then what? It's just a waste of time and resources for the sake of it. Dubai to me is the ultimate in tacky. It is just bling for the rich and brainless, whilst they have a 20% poverty rate... very likely made up of those who service the rich. Also, you forgot to mention the Turd Khalifa does not have a proper sewer system, so relies on tankers arriving daily to remove the waste. The whole set up is revolting. Here in the UK, I am not surprised that they couldn't get permission for the bridge due to bureaucracy. The entire set up in London is a complete turd sandwich. That Russian Olympic town was a complete shit show, but then how many other Olympic villages turn into a huge pile of pointless dung. The Olympics being held anywhere else other than Greece, as it is named after Mount Olympus, is just an exercise in willy waving. After all the time and expense, these Olympic villages are just left to rot and the taxpayers have footed the bill for this single event. Complete and utter waste.

@danielobrien15712 жыл бұрын
@@Chronically_JBoo Yes, I recall that incident where those steel plates fell and killed someone in a vehicle toward the entranceway of the tunnel which was a real tragedy, I believe it was caused by the changing weather which weakened the way the plates were supported on the ceiling at the area where it happened.

There is a huge problem with this video especially with respect to American and UK funding by federal govts. The Taxes do not fund these federally funded projects because those countries are sovereign currency-issuing nations. The writers of these need to learn some Modern Monetary concepts.

Yucca Mountain was putting waste in glass, then in barrels. Even in an accident would be easy to retrieve. Now theyre dumping wastewater in the ocean, guess thats better, huh? Also storing it in nuclear plants then it blows all over the landscape in an accident. Or, put it in bullets, great. Yucca mountain was better than these.
