I don't know if you've got one yet. If there's no center block you can have feedback problems when you turn up too loud. I have a center block Gretsch and a fully hollow one. I do prefer the center block one or my Sparkle Jet for stage work. The hollow one is usually for studio work when loud volume is not an issue.
