The wall alone won't work, though. I think that pouring millions of tons of concrete on the Texas, New Mexico, and California border will cost too much. And it won't solve the problem. It would have to be constantly guarded to work, (including tunneling detection) and there would still be influx by waterways. Where there's will, there's a way. I think that better policing, international police cooperation, humanitarian help to stabilise poorer countries so gangs like this don't start would be the ultimate solution.
