Wooow strange how Albania from isolation 1944-1991 of communism , get from 2022-2025 a top raise to top 20 in Europe 🎉😮 , small nation in Adriatic and Ionian like Albania with 29,000 square kilometer and 2.4 mil inhabitant to be on top 20 is awesome , same for Slovakia but Albania was a surprise for positive ! Same in Greece in the last 4-5 years. In my town (Kavala) even now there are many Bulgarians or Turks to come for a trip. Both of them purchased many old homes or places to construct or rebuild them to live. Even this year, some islands, inhabitants had big problems with so much tourism and the local infrastructures aren't so good to handle it.

Almost EVERY European country is like that, lol. France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Czechia, Greece, Austria, Bulgaria, Georgia, Estonia, Lithuania, Ireland, Norway, Slovenia, Cyprus, Malta, Montenegro, Iceland, San Marino. In fact some of those countries got more than 4 TIMES more tourists in a year than their own population. Like Croatia and Montenegro, and some even MORE, like 6-7 TIMES their own population, like Iceland, Cyprus and Malta. When you look at Netherlands again, it's nothing special. 😂 Both in total numbers and per capita. There's at least 10 European countries that are much more touristy than Netherlands.

More interesting would be a comparison of tourism income. Some of these numbers simply cannot be credible. For example, do the Baltic states count every Russian car that crosses their borders into Western Europe as a tourist? It seems so. And what is that with Slovakia? Is their beer cheaper and Czechs are coming there to drink? What counts most is how many tourist overnight stays there are, much less how many daily tourists are there, many of whom are not tourists at all. Money is what counts!

Sin embargo en pernoctaciones , que ahí cuentan nacionales y extranjeros, España lidera en 2023 con 483 millones, Francia 456 millones y Alemania 433 millones en Europa. Además España ingresó más de 90 mil millones de euros por gasto turístico siendo un país más barato que Francia, sobre todo que París que es el mayor receptor de turismo en Francia con 65 mil millones de ingresos por gasto turístico, igual alguien maquilla sus datos para parecer el más visitado del mundo 🙄. Recordemos que España se colocó supuestamente segunda con unos 15 millones menos de turistas que Francia, así que algo no cuadra, osea Francia es más cara, recibe 15 millones más de turistas y sin embargo España la supera en más de 25 mil millones de ingresos por turismo y en unos 27 millones más de estancias que ahí también se cuentan los nacionales y también nos superan en población, unos 18 millones más de habitantes 😆 no se yo ...

Considerando solo los extranjeras, en 2019 España tuvo 300 millones de pernoctaciones, Italia 221 y Francia 137 (qui es solamente sexta depuès China EUA y Reino Unido tambièn)

@@Iamthescempio bueno con más razón, Francia tiene unos 68'4 millones de habitantes, España 48,9 millones, entre eso y los 100 millones de turistas sobre 85 de España deberían tener muchas más pernoctaciones que España, por eso digo que esos 100 millones de turistas de Francia que además es más caro que España e ingresa 25 mil millones de euros menos que España en gasto turístico que eso si mide el extranjero, es más que cuestionable que no hagan trampas midiendo como turistas otra cosa que no lo son.

Tourism is only good for the economy if each tourist spends at least more than 50 euros a day on shopping and dining, and not just on hotels and resorts. If tourists spend money in a confined environment, that is only good for some. So don't show me quantity, show me quality and how much each tourist spends per day in their country and where. Tell me what type of tourist visits your country and how much they spend and I will tell you if tourist activity is a profit or loss for your country.
