Some ppl will argue that His name is this and His name is that. Yah, Yahweh, The Most High. Then the names for Jesus. Jehovah, Emmanuel, Elohim, El Shaddai,. Some ppl say you shouldn’t put the “o” in God’s name bc they didn’t have vowels and in the original Hebrew language. It was YHWH. The name was said to be too holy to utter. Now they do spell it with the vowels to get Yahweh. I’m just so tired of the argument about His name. God has many different names. As long as we know that we are talking about the one true God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, then that should be good enough. Of course out of respect, reverence, and to honor God, I am always sure to capitalize it.

Last year I visited this “church” Dream Center and walked out 15 minutes later! First thing I noticed was the BMWs and Benz all out in the parking lot. They had a front row of performers (the people that catch the Holy Ghost the MOST lol) Everyone was in Gucci, designer labels, dressed to impress somebody or something. They threw money on the stage when the “pastor” was preaching and hyping them up. And when he started bragging about being nominated for a Grammy… I soon after got up and left! Prayed for the people still inside to have the cover lifted from their eyes, to repent, and leave.

I thank God that i grew up in holiness. It was not perfect but some of my greatest memories are tarrying on the alter and just straight up church. The rules and regulations of holiness, some i take and some i leave. I know they meant well. I come from no pants and no makeup (they still wore it but hey). My pastor from my childhood wouldn't marry you if you were divorced, u sat in the back if you were pregnant and unmarried. And im only 44. But thank God for that kind of teaching. It may be strict and i dont adhere to some of it today but im glad to have known the last of an era.

Back in the day when I was coming up in the sanctified pentecostal church and Baptist church, you knew the difference between gospel and secular music. No one came into the church dancing and moving like these folks do now. That would have been considered Blasphamous. Before I got saved, I used to go to the clubs, so I know the difference. I commend those young ladies for leaving the club. I hope they come to Christ if they haven't already.
