Hi Staci. I'm a woman in my 30's with deep family wounds. I just wanted to tell you that, even though this recording was aimed at men, it spoke so strongly to me that I have played it about 4-5 times a day for the last week. The prayer at the end especially. I'm making that prayer my prayer, from my heart to Father God. Your tenderness, Staci, also touched me deeply. Thank you for being a vehicle of grace and gentleness, of healing and vulnerability. Bless this ministry, God!

I watched this several mos. ago. Very powerful stuff and shared with church members. Just sent it to my daughter for the 2nd time and told her she needs to watch it over and over to try to avoid mistakes with her 17 mo. old son.

The mother bestows self worth.. oh that explains so very much. Wow that's like a sack of bricks to the gut, wow explains why I see myself as worthless not even worth people's time to help me get to church. Why I have a hard time understanding why people love me why God loves me...

My mum's a nutter. Anxious, has irrational thoughts, some kind of delusional disorder. She never wanted to admit there's something not right going on. Pain Avoidance. Now she's got to the point where the truth is coming out, and it's hell.

I’m a woman listening to this and was balling my eyes out. I have such deep mother, father and Male wounds. I’ve never been angry with my mum, as I understand she’s gone through a lot but the pain I’ve carried for a lifetime of neglect, abuse etc from many people has affected my ability to assimilate fully into the family of God, despite trying. Despite all my fears re. men, I still do my best to mother, care, encourage and despite receiving very little from my mother, I still follow my calling. I fail too of course! Is there a version of this for women? Also, I have felt shame for wanting to be other things as well as a mother to many. Women carry a lot of shame in their identity, multi-faceted purposes. Do you speak on this? Do you also speak on Father wounds for women? I have both and just fell across you now. Thank you sincerely for this video. I have forwarded it to men and women xxxxx

39:20 Her sons are 24; 22 & 20. This is another discussion to be had. Because giving birth to children one on top of the other yields the same results as being neglected or rejected. At two years, a toddler is still in their formative years. There is just no way that they are ready to make way for a newborn sibling! This is damaging to the child. And no! Dad attending to the two year old while mom is breastfeeding the new born doesn’t help the situation! The child is going through some form of emotional trauma at this stage! Because their little brains do not yet have the ability to process their emotions. This definitely cannot be right!

She kinda lost me a bit with the generational curse thing. I didnt think there was any such thing. Can anyone explain what she meant by that?
@wearenotpoetsx
@wearenotpoetsx 4 жыл бұрын
generational curses or patterns are things that are inherited in our family lines. trauma, financial anxiety, self-sabotage etc.. a lot of the time it's because we watch the way our parents behave and think and we pick up those behaviours and patterns, usually unconsciously. like when your mom will say, your dad's family is argumentative or they don't know how to keep money. that's a generational inheritance, how are they ALL argumentative? they are strongholds (mindsets) that need to be dealt with and often healed, or they will continue.
@zeenkosis

Yes it is. Most families have very similar distinctions from one generation to the next. Mostly when people aren’t close to families they think their struggle is new but most of the time it isn’t

The clip starts around 1:45:12 (Antoine moves closer to his mom as he is talking to her and says "I use to dream about you". The clip ends around 1:50:37 (about 15 seconds after the grandma says "alright" and waves the rest of the family in). The ending song is Jill Phillips "I am".

Knowing my mum and her kin this is no mother wound. Attachment or father wound . The best without any diagnostics and allowed the best possible reversal surgery option. I am mum.

If i got a dollar for every time i heard that, i'd be rich by now Kathrine. Too many people think they know the "Truth". Hardly anyone is willing to live in the mystery. How sad.
@KathrineJKozachok
@KathrineJKozachok 7 жыл бұрын
Yes, I see how that can be sad. Ya know, God is the greatest mystery. It makes me sad to see how many people too quickly decide that they know He does not exist. I'll bet I can't convince you that your mother or father does not exist. That's because you know them personally, and have interactive communication and relationship with them. Consider what I said. Don't people become angry and offended when they hear something that they are not ready to accept? Everyone is hurt; Jonathan; only God can heal. I promise you, it's Him.
