I was right there with Joel Robert's team in Pepperell, Massachusetts when Edison Dye and Dick Mann brought European motocross to the USA. I was standing there when Joel, on his motorcycle needed a push. I pushed his bike with him on it, with all my might, ready to go as far as needed, and Joel turned around to me and shouted, "Ozee, ozee", meaning "Okay, okay." Helping World Champion Joel Robert was a thrill for me as an American wannabe world-class motorcycle racer, and a bright memory forever. RIP, Joel Robert

Ahh, Pepperell. I had some very pleasant memories of racing their 73 to 75 open pro class with Jimmy Ellis and the boys. Awesome track.

perhaps the first & last joel roberto i never forgot when the honda dream replaced my cz 125 mx was pulled from my grazped . i tried every thing to fix is everything alright . i'm sorry .
