@@MrSharkFIN I did not think about the snow factor. It feels different to skate on a lake. Last winter we dug the snow away from a part of the lake and pumped up water from a hole we sawed in the ice. It wasn't a perfect result but at last we could play some hockey when every rink was closed for the public. It required a lot of work but we had fun doing the it.
