The movement to break Israel’s siege on Gaza | The Take

As aid barely trickles into Gaza, a group of activists are trying to take matters into their own hands. The Freedom Flotilla movement planned to set sail to Gaza, bringing more than 5000 tons of aid and taking on great personal risk. The Take looks into their years-long struggle to break Israel’s siege on Gaza.

Seventy-five years ago, the people of that land opened their hearts and their homes to another group who had endured 4 years of suffering. A group who the rest of the world rejected. They thought the newcomers would settle in as friendly neighbours. 75 years later, the guests have settled on the land formerly inhabited by the hosts. Meanwhile the unsuspecting hosts sit in refugee camps, unable to feed themselves while mourning the loss of their families, homes and that feeling of safety they once had. The abused suddely became the abusers. And the guests transformed into occupiers. Their intentions were never to coexist with anyone. Had their ancestors decided America was their rightful home they would have done to us what they are doing to the Palestinians. But one thing the guests did not anticipated, is that their hosts would be staunch believers of God. And that after 75 years of unimaginable suffering, their belief in God would remain intact, so strong that nothing, not even starvation would destroy their will to survive

The prosecuting individuals for war crimes and crimes against humanity shouldn't be complex and lengthy, peoples are dying day by day with more than 40000 civilians including babies, children, women, healthcare workers, and journalist have been killed in Gaza.
