we had the same thing on our RC cruise, if you didn't eat at certain times you had to wait until something opened. That has been a change post covid travel.

Was at the buffet on carnival and the lady asked my husband (who was grabbing some for himself) to put some cookies on her plate. He did so, and she said no I want this one..then PROCEEDS to grab one with her crusty fingers somehow touching all the others along the way! 🤢 we said no more cookies on the trip lol

Hi @That Awesome Trucker. We did find out that they seated different people at the same table (for example, the table next to us seated four and there were two couples there that were total strangers). I would suggest that once you arrive onboard, go to the manager for your dining room and request seating for you. To be honest, those tables were so close it was like communal dining! 😅Hope this was helpful and have a great cruise!

Nice vlog!!! Did the seascape have any night club/ night time activities outside of the performance shows? We just cruised on the Meraviglia. Our first time on an MSC ship and we really loved it. But the night time activities was the only only thing that was a little lacking.

I think for someone who was saying how the food had no taste an all… let me see you make all those foods and make them as perfect they are supposed to be. All I see in this video is someone who is complaining and complaining. Definitely didn’t give me any type of information for the cruise other than the room tour.

Food is subjective but let me tell you this… we ALL know our way around the kitchen and YES, as a matter of fact we have made many of the dishes WE felt were lacking in flavor/taste one way or another and they for SURE would have been better tasting than what we had on the ship and what our hard earned money paid for!😁

that's basically the biggest problem of cruising at the lower price points: more uncivilized passengers, but also more passengers that do things like leaving dirty dishes, glasses, spilled food in elevators, etc. The msc ships look very nice (albeit sort of like office building lobby areas from around the 1990s or early 2000s), but I've heard mixed things about the food. And it's odd that on cruisecritic, they seem to have a team to rationalize/explain away the numerous posts on bad food or bad service...

It happens on high-end cruise lines and at high-end resorts. I witnessed a mature lady whom looked to be someone of elite status, and based on the color of her arm band, she was in a cabin that started at $9,400 on our particular sailing. This lady used her fingers to pick up raisins from the serving dish; despite the fact a serving spoon was litrrally in the bowl. At a resort I witnessed a young lady wearing an ivy league college graduate t-shirt, Balenciaga crocs, and sorority paraphernalia scoop food from the buffet, smelled it, and placed it back into the serving dish. I almost forgot, I witnessed a gentleman lick food from his finger at the buffet on a cruise as he continued to use the shared serving utensils. . These occurrences were on different cruise lines, neither being MSC or Carnival. Trust me, price point has nothing to do with the behavior of some people. I might as well start cruising at "lower price points" because thus far spending the extra money on premium lines and resorts has not affored me the priviledge of avoiding this type of uncivilized behavior.
