I liked Holomisa’s recommendation to establish a special investigative unit. They shouldn’t be announced on the news or anywhere else; they should just hit the ground running. The Police Service and Army can step in once we’ve identified the real masterminds. Their role should be to cut the problem at the root and make arrests. But for this to work, the government must prioritize the safety budget.

In 2022 we had a building(school) project in EC, I'm from Pretoria and I was held hostage for 4 hours cos I was driving a company printed bakkie, they took money from my account and called my family members to pay them, they took me infront of a traffic officer and they left the company at the stop sign in town it was there for 4 hours not moved or towed until I was released.
