I've got the exact same gun. Got it new for $500. Runs flawlessly with either barrel all day long and both are dead on accurate. Outshoots kimbers and TRP's consistently. The ramps are steep but haven't given me any issues yet. My only concern is my firing pin doesn't hit the center of the primer, it's always slightly off center. Still goes bang everytime so no big deal but just something I haven't seen before.

Is it an all steel frame grip and slide?
@zdub84383 жыл бұрын
@@philosopherstoned832 yes. 3lbs unloaded iirc. Very heavy and tough. For comparison my 6.5" 7 shot .357 tracker is only 2.75 lbs and that's a giant gun with a rail and red dot.

I carry one daily now. It's proven 100% reliable, extremely accurate, and lighter than my steel framed 45 1911. Fit and finish of the metal is great, but the finish is wearing off alot faster than I would like. It's better than a citadel though. (I like the citadel guns because they're tough and accurate, but their finishes suck.) Overall good gun, better than its price range for sure!

Very good video. Amazing amount of detail. Very well done. Thanks a lot. From what I have seen, I am going to have to get one of these now. It looks like a lot of fun to shoot!

Got this gun it is fantastic to shoot also got the converson kit for the GLOCK19GEN 4 that just shoots the TCM9R RD. And you can put the different mags in it 15, 17 , 20 , and the BIG STICK30 PLUS RDS. Lots of fun I just found a store on line 13.85 a box the ammo is coming down in price. I wish some other ammocompanys would start making this ammo but like said it is coming down in price. Thanks Ham&egger

The barrel's ramp and lower lug design looks like the Clark/Para pattern. Clark Custom developed the design, and Para-Ordnance adopted it for their production pistols in 1990. The other major ramped barrel design is the Wilson/Nowlin, named for Wilson Combat and Nowlin Custom. The rear of the lower lugs is squared-off instead of the radiused rear of the Clark/Para. This may be useful if you want a .38 Super or 9x23mm Winchester barrel fitted. The same magazines should work as-is.

Stocks made for the Para-Ordnance P14.45 should fit, as should triggers and mag catches. For this caliber, the P18.9 magazines should work. Remington is now selling them under their R1 label. The RP9 mag tubes are the same, but I don't know if the base plate is compatable.

Excellent Job! I am looking to purchase one of these. I have never seen anybody do as good and in depth review on the gun as you did. I had no idea it had its own grips, different slightly, from normal 1911s for example. The aluminum frame single stack 3.65 or 4.2" barrel models sound like they would be a good carry guns. The 5.7 FN/Ruger is expensive,hard to reload,and has a terrible trigger comparitively. I wish RIA would release this and get SAAMI certification for this round so it isn't a wildcat forever( tho I doubt they will.) Every small company like them wants a monopoly like Apple, so I don't see it happening. I am just thankful Lee and Redding make dies, but there is No load data unless Armscor puts it out, and we know that probably wont happen. Ammo is cheap, but I just cant bring myself to throw away good brass. :)

Thank you. These are definitely cool guns and that round seems like it would be extremely effective.

I love this gun. A little off topic, what is the difference between a 10 mm and a 45 round?
@HammerStriker4 жыл бұрын
On the surface, just .05" difference in diameter and a little bit of weight. The 10mm is .40" and is usually 180 -> 200 grain. The .45 is .452" and is usually 230 grain. This may initially lead somebody to think .45 is more powerful until you consider velocity. The .45 is usually 850->900 fps, resulting in 350->475 ft/lb muzzle energy. The 10mm (in proper loads, not the watered down almost .40 loads) would be 1200->1300 fps with around 700 fl/lbs of muzzle energy. The .45 may make a bigger initial hole but 10mm makes a much bigger mess behind that hole.

From what I understand, Armscor developed this round from scratch, and the case IS NOT a cut down .223, or anything like that.
@BAdventures3 жыл бұрын
Look up the Shooting Illustrated article on 22TCM. They confirm the parent case is based off 223 rem / 5.56mm. Also look up the reloading dies, they are based off 5.56mm and 223 rem.
@davidycedo16063 жыл бұрын
The 22tcm was developed by Fred Craig the 22micromag T C M and its a 5.56 base not 9mm.

What holster and mag pouches would work with this firearm?
@HammerStriker3 жыл бұрын
I have not looked for a holster for this, but it is basically a 1911 so I would imagine anything other than one customized to a specific model would work well.

@@HammerStriker - Interesting. And not that it's a bad thing. The company makes good products and is based in the Vegas area I believe. But I originally got them confused with "Rock Island Arsenal". Obviously they named their company to confuse people :) It's good Capitalism [marketing] all the way around.

Got mine new in the factory grease for $500. Guy just never got around to messing with it. Gotta keep an eye on Armslist. There's someone out there who doesn't feel like ordering ammo online or switching out calibers with one of these in their safe collecting dust. People remember when Ria's were $400 new but forget to check and see that they are going for twice that for some models now. Just gotta keep an eye out and you will get one for a song and dance like I did. Absolutely fantastic 1911s at any price.
