Mark Palmer I know bro. Don't worry. Just wanted to make a follow up to your comment because I think the same. He looks like Moon when he plays. BTW, my band recorded "Crush Me" last saturday as a homage. If you could comment by looking for ANOREXIA ISAN CRUSH ME here in KZbin, it would be very meaningful to me.

He's been a busy, Keith Moon-type drummer for decades.

I once had a wonderful conversation with Robert Hecker where I asked him if he wouldn't mind jotting down a few of his thoughts about each of the drummers he'd played with during his time with REDD KROSS. Being a bassist myself and, knowing Robert for a few decades via the music stuff...and, having so much respect for his opinion (knowing that he would be very kind and, honest, AND, knowledgeable/credible). I'm definitely NOT dishing out here...I would never...and, Robert did not stray from the relevant information anyways. He is not only a fantastic guitarist...he's a wonderful human being - and, a former decades old high school hurdles state record holder...who had his 20+ year old record broken by a student that he both taught and coached. The first thing that Robert said with regard to the 8 drummers that he played with was, that he ALWAYS roomed with the drummers and, he loved that because they could develop a great musical connection through getting to know one another which - even at that high a level musically - he was always striving to be better...to be the best he could be in order to help the band, and the songs be the best they possibly could...for each other and, for the people who supported REDD KROSS. How cool is that? And, on several levels too. Robert said he learned from each drummer (although he was a bit more complimentary of certain aspects or, strengths, - from "unbelievably high, world class, top, tier level drum genius" to, "he played the double kick on EVERYTHING! I mean...that was the style of the time...but, not really appropriate for BLOW YOU A KISS IN THE WIND" That cracked me up...he said that SO KINDLY. The very first sentence about Roy was, "Roy was/is Keith Moon, but, really grounded of course. Eminently pleasant personality and great for the power pop rock. PERFECT for THE MUFFS and, very pleasant to both play with, and, hang out with." Isn't that the PERFECT DESCRIPTION OF ROY?! Cheers

@@amerocker First, he's a science communicator that teaches people the science that scientists have learned, like how vaccines and evolution work. Luckily, science does not need a single authority figure, so he isn't that, and nobody thinks he is. Second, what other "acting roles" did he play, if he's an actor?
