Have a soft spot for the first two films. The London sequences in Mummy Returns, from the house to the museum to the bus chase have a perfect tone and lots of great practical effects. The rest of the movie feels like a completely different film

The Dragon Emperor is actually my favorite of the franchise😅 I’ve seen it the most out of all of them. In fact, I’ve seen it for the first time since my childhood today, and despite my nitpicks I still enjoyed it just as much as back then. The only real issue I have with it is the replacement of Rick’s wife.

I have a very fond appreciation for the Mummy films because they really provoke the imagination with ancient curses and Indiana Jones style action which can be silly but fun to watch. 1. The Mummy 2. I remember when The Mummy Returns introduced him as a Great warrior turned into an antagonist. Then the Original Scorpion King happened, and then the crazy sequels came. I watched most of them thinking it would lead up to when Rick takes out The Scorpion King out with the spear of Ohm Shere.

Since the mummy films are a lot about reincarnation. It would be cool to see a new one said place may be in the 60s or 70s and have Brendan Fraser return sort of like an old Indiana Jones and have the rock Dwayne Johnson return reincarnated as the hero and them go on a new adventure. I don’t care if it’s good I’ll still see it haha but it could be great. And even have the actor return that played Imhotep reincarnated. We have him return is the same villain but as a mortal and give him some character arc what he finally becomes good and even sacrifices himself. If you had some good writing you could make that believable...

Some ideas for future videos, sort of like a series where you explain oddities in scores on Rotten Tomatoes Why does Spiderman Far From Home have the highest audience score on Rotten Tomatoes of any MCU film? (and go into detail on why other films don’t beat it) Why does Revenge of the Sith have a way higher critic score than audience score? (I really don’t understand this one) Why fans and critics disagree on Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Mans Chest? 1. It’s a funny spider-man movie with cool cgi scenes and right after endgame (FFH makes you feel happier after endgame) 2. It’s the worst of the original trilogy according to most fans I think and Star Wars fans hate Star Wars the most. It was very different from empire strikes back which got a lot of praise. 3. Dead mans chest was very different and started a new story it wasn’t going to end. Since the series was basically over story-wise it didn’t need a new movie and it was different so it got mixed reviews. At Worlds End was really different from the other two so probably because of that. I’m probably wrong for most of these but these are my guesses.

Well return of the sith probably have higher critic score than audience score because Star War fans and that it wasn’t taken in by them until recently where more likes it.
