Just looking at songs that other artists covered and saw that the muppets covered this song. I also noticed that they censored “Can I take my friend to bed” to instead “Can I please go to bed?” Idk why they censored it but still a good song.

This album released only as a record. The records title is a clear parody of the MTV series MTV Unplugged. The album consisted of Kermit and the other Muppets getting lost at a recording studio. I didn't know about the spanish version, what is the name of the song?

why do they have to change the lyric from "can I take a friend to bed" to "do I have to go to bed"? - too adult??! ... the "children's version" (from uk, I guess) has original words -- too much for US audience??!!

Censorship can be a funny thing. In the Muppets version of Kokomo, they change "gives me a contact high" to "under a moonlit sky", but keeps "Afternoon Delight"...
