A bit miss leading the British didn’t take the most fertile land. British farming techniques were more developed at the time that’s why there land was better

I would not be surprised if the British intentionally removed the Irish population on less arable lands though. The Irish were denied the right of property.

They planted Ulster because it was the hardest part of Ireland to control - that's why they "moved" loyal Scottish subjects onto the land, knowing full well that the Scottish were even more vicious than the native Irish.

That's your theory. They moved Scots there because they thought they may get on better as they are both Celtic and there culture is Celtic why would they want conflict? They want to make a profit wars don't make profit
