Well done 👍🏼 . We do as human beings have to remember Sid & Nancy as troubled young adults who were mistreated as children . May they both rest in peace 😢

Mistreated as children is, to me, an American way of excusing the actions of liable people. Lots of mistreated people go on to live full, productive lives without resorting to a sob-story about their 'horrible' childhoods. That melodrama is for 'America's Got Talent' stories. What is real is that with maturity comes responsibility. Don't get me wrong, I think Sid was a jovial guy who radiated a goofball, likable image. He was a witty, charming and intelligent guy, but unfortunately his life was blown into a cul-de-sac when Nancy came by. He was lured into a pitiable addiction because he thought it was 'cool', but soon realised differently. A shame - and sad. But then, survival of the fittest. Neither of these two were fit enough to survive the slog of life we all have to endure. Which is sad ... but that IS life

Taking 20 tuinal barbiturates seems like an overdose/suicide attempt. Maybe this was like a Romeo and Juliet situation.

Rocket, the drug dealer, killed Nancy and then his mother OD'd Sid on purpose, so he wouldn't have to go to prison. Very sad story. Btw, And I Don't Want to Live This Life is an un-put-downable book. It really shows you how fucked up Nancy was, even as a baby. Her mom did an amazing job on that book.

Very well-made video. Please make more. There is a bitter irony in the fact that a tragedy that cuts short the lives of two people becomes the thing that makes them live forever.

A fantastic and well documented story. Sid and Nancy were a tragedy. There is nothing good about drugs. Great work. Greets from Cork 🇮🇪

McClaren wasn’t at the hotel when Sid was released from jail he was in London fighting Lydon in the high court

Correct. McLaren was just a spiteful, greedy narcissist who wanted fame or infamy at ANY cost. And I truly doubt he cared for Sid . . . other than what he could rake in from him. He also did NOT create the Sex Pistols. These lies have become lore (which I guess was his raison d'etre all along)

This is the best Sid and Nancy video I've watched and I have seen alot. Most of them tell one part but not another like about Rocket Redglare who I think killed Nancy.

Spoke to her on the phone a few years back. (I can find anyone I want. I have special skills.)Nancy's sister was on the other phone and asked how i got the number then i assured i was not calling to be ugly to her mother. Mrs. Spungen sounded like a sad tired old lady. Nancy and I were born the same year. I tried to comfort her mother by telling her Nancy was just one of our generation and we all did what Nancy did-maybe not to that degree. She still feels like she did or did not do something that could change things. I wish her peace and hope for her to be reunited with Nancy when her final peace comes.

There is nothing attractive about Nancy Spungen...Lydon loathed her for wrecking Sids life & Jones called her a cun*...Both were correct..
